It started out as a nice, easy going Sunday. For us. Mom was rushing around doing this that and the other thing.
But Lucky and I know how to deal with that. As you can see from these photos.
We just let her run around while we relax.

But then it got real windy. The trees were swaying to and fro in a big way. I'm not sure you can really see it from this photo.
And then the sky got real dark. Darker than it shows in the photo.
And then it started to rain. And rain and rain. And you know what Lucky and I did? We slept right through it.

You are both very smart! Sleeping through the storm sounds like the best thing to do. We hope the storm wasn't too bad.

ReplyDeleteYep! The thing to do is sleep right through it. Especially for my sister Dana. She is sensitive to storms and changes in barometric pressure, and if mommy forgets to give her a melatonin before the storm comes, she gets all scared and will hide even from mommy. This is even worse because Dana is deaf, and can't hear mommy when she calls her. That's why I have to be her guardian ALL the time. *sigh*

On my June 18 post,your Mom was wondering about a magenta flower. It was a rhododendron. It was just coming into bloom,so Mom took a picture of one flower instead of the whole bunch :)

Yep, stormy weather is soooo good for sleepin'! That's what any intelligent creature should do! But, people, sometimes, they just don't know their hind end from a hurricane, yes? Haha!
