Mom received this commission last year. The top, of flimsy, is done. Today she is going to her and Auntie's favorite quilt shop for a backing. Mom wants a hot pink, but not too dark a hot pink. I just want to know when I can quality control it!

Pretty! What does flimsy mean in quilt speak? Mom's been saving her scraps and hopes to make a quilt or two for our SPCA. She's never made a quilt and really has no clue what she's doing, but that has never stopped her before.
