Roof Adventure

See that eave right there? That's where mom thinks the leak is. So mom put a ladder on the sewing room roof and climbed up the eave with her black tar and gooped black tar everywhere she could reach.

She wasn't in any danger of falling and hitting the ground, as you can see. But she didn't really like being up there.

Of course, since dad is like me,

afraid of heights, mom is going to have to sand and paint that trim this summer. If it ever stops raining.

It's pouring right now, but it's not leaking. Keep your fingers crossed that mom got the spot.

Check out these great earrings mom's co-worker (Angel) made. Aren't they just the cutest? Mom wants them. And her birthday is coming up. Isn't that fortuitous?

    Well Roxy - your mom is a brave lady climbing all the way up there. A bit of info - we had a leak at our house by the chimmney too and it had to be resheathed (whatever that is) and then reroofed so we redid the floors and then the kitchen and then added a kitchen cabinet and the mommy said it cost a cotrillion zillion dollars (whatever that is)!

    Hi there, Dog! Perhaps you should ask your Mom to get someone to help her with roof leaks. If it rained, and the roof leaks again, you must definitely suggest to your Mom and Dad to ask for roofing services. *woof* :-)

    Hiya, Dog! Lue is absolutely right; going up the roof to fix leaks alone is kind of dangerous. If you and dad can't help her, then have some professional roof experts would be happy to do it. Nice earrings, by the way! =)

    It looks dangerous to go up there, Dog! Don't let your Mom go up there on her own. If you and your Dad can't help your Mom fix the leaks, then you better ask help from roof experts who would be more than happy to take this job.
