Easy Like Sunday Morning - NOT

So, do you think mom is going to take today off, and rest? Or read? NOPE! She's going to paint. Some more! Yesterday all she did was paint white. White, white, white. Okay, it's not really paint, it's primer. And do you think mom put a single coat on? Oh no, not my mom. Gotta do everything really well. Two coats. And two whole gallons of primer for the walls and the ceiling.




And here is mom's ceiling. She is rather proud of it. It is not perfect, and she knows it, but we hope no one is silly enough to tell her that. (Right, Auntie?)

This is the safest place in the house. And that's where I'm staying.


There is a "Quilts From All Over The World" show that mom and Auntie may go to this afternoon. While the paint is drying, you understand. She'll tell you all about it Monday if they go.

    Sunday, Sunday, Sunday. You know, the Biblical day of rest(unless you're Jewish). We're exhausted just reading about your Mom. We hope that at least you and Lucky are taking it easy this morning. Tell your Mom to kick back, drink some beers and spend quality time with you pups or you're gonna turn into delinquent dogs.

    That room looks pawsome!!! I bet she (and you& Lucky) can't wait for it to be done!! Think of all the projects she can do!!!!
