Here it is with one coat of "Liberty". Auntie says is is a "true blue" and "ultramarine". Whatever, mom loves it.
After painting this, all before noon, mom and Auntie went to the World Quilt Show. Here are a few of mom's favorites.
Mom really loves this one. She feels it makes you think.
It must be the colors that appeal to mom in this one.
This was gorgeous in real life.
Auntie liked this a lot. Mom says it reminds her of Jackson Pollock and she'll pass.
Lucky and I taking a break. Mom is going to bed earlier than usual. She got a headache and was grumpy. Can't imagine why!

ReplyDeleteOur mom thinks your mom is amazing - she can't punch or kick to save her life - which is why kickboxing is the one fitness class she doesn't teach at all. But every one is born to run, even if they are super-slow, like our mom is!

ReplyDeleteOMD Mommy loves that blue it's the perfect shade! I think your Mommy will be done with the room way before Jack frost brings winter time! Sorry your Mommy is grumpy...it must be from inhaling that paint! I like the 4th quilt the best!

Wow, your mom had a very busy day! We love the blue she chose. Bet she and auntie had fun at the quilt show, there are some lovely ones. We like the last photo of the two of you relaxing and staying out of trouble.

Roxy darling - you can do the Dare at any time! All our dares are open to do even if the official deadline is over! A lot of animals for example have taken the nomss dare long after it was over!

I use those bags all the time, I have a ton. I love the walmart bags you can get, they are HUGE and really durable!
