He did not get an "A", but mom is not upset by that. He did get a "B", and this is how it got scored. There were three categories; Distance, Speed and Creativity.
For distance PlusOne got an 85 - Car moved. (100 was car moved 5 meters or more)
For Speed PlusOne got an 85 - Car's speed is above class average. (100 was car's speed exceeds the class average by 10%)
For Creativity PlusOne got an 80 - Car meets average expectations. (100 was car voted as top car on the team. 85 was car is voted on as a top classroom car.
B = 240 - 269 points. PlusOne got 250 points.
Considering everything, mom is very happy about it. The darn thing moved! And that made mom happy. The speed being above class average was way cool. It moved .46 meters/second.
Thanks for all your positive thoughts and comments. Mom is really happy its DONE and OVER WITH. :)

I think that is a very fine car that he made!
That looks like a pretty good car to us - B is still a good grade, and that was a pretty difficult project. Concats to PlusOne (and your Mom),

For what it's worth...we totally would have given him an A!!!
I think Rosie Marie might have some "friends" she could send over to have a friendly chat with the teacher if you're interested! HAHAHAHAAAA
Happy Saturday!

hi mom and plusone!
we give you an A++++.
your car was amazing! that was a hard assignment and tough grading. looks like plusone has some good teachers who really care about kids being challenged.
you guys did great!
We think Plus One did a great job! Creating a car like that looks impossible to us (and to our mom).
Good work!

Good work everybuddy. You did a great job of making a moving car, and got an awesome grade.
Yay congrats Plusone!!!
That's some seriously critical grading if you ask me. I think he deserved an A+++! I have NEVER seen a balloon car! It's awesome!
