Tuesday Togetherness

Lucky was sitting on mom's lap yesterday morning. I did not like it. I wanted to be on mom's lap. So I climbed up into her lap and wedged myself next to her.

Mom said it was pretty hard to type with both of us between her and the keyboard.

Then Lucky put her head on my back.

I figured I would let her, because I was where I wanted to be.

Aren't I nice?

Sounds of the Cello

Here are the celloists. (Is that a word?) Musicians. Here are the musicians.

They are seventeen years apart. They often call each other brother.

They love each other very, very much. The boy adores Mr. Karate. Mr Karate is very proud of the boy.

Mr. Karate did a solo first. Then the boy and Mr. Karate did a duet for two songs.

That is their teacher in the middle, helping keep time.

Memere cried. Of course. Mom didn't. But she was very proud of both of them. As was Pepere, Auntie, and Dad.

The good news is that mom got some video of them. The bad news is is that it is only ten seconds long. Mom couldn't figure out how to make it continuous. Mom took video of Mr. Karate, but can't figure out how to rotate the picture. Mom did take video of Mr. Karate with his phone, so you may see that on his blog. Here are videos of the two songs.

Recital Sunday

Sunday, the boy is going to dress up nicely like this:

And Mr. Karate is going to dress up nicely like this:

And they are both going to do this:

Together.

They are in a recital of their private instructor's. They will be doing a duet. Actually, I think they will be doing two duets. They have been practising quite a lot lately. They are very excited about it. Mom, dad, Auntie, memere and pepere are all going to watch them play together. It should be very, well, exciting.

Tagged By Millie

I have been tagged for a meme. Here are the rules.
1) You have to post who tagged you and link back to them. Millie tagged me.
2) You have to tag 3 other kitties, beans, woofies, or any other assorted animal.

3) What three things would you do that you have never done before, if you knew you wouldn't get caught, get in trouble, or suffer any consequences.

Well, I had to think very hard about this, because you know, I am a good girl and I don't get into trouble like my sister. Or if I do, it is very rare.

I would like to do more of this, but since I did not get into trouble for it, I guess I can't count it.

I would like to do more of this, but since mom knows I like it, I don't think she would try and stop me.

For once I would really like to sleep on TOP of Roxy, but since it really doesn't bother me, I guess I can't count that either. But it would be fun to be on top of her for once. Or twice.

So I guess I would really like to get on the table like Roxy does and look out the window. It would be a lot of fun to see what goes on outside when mom, dad, and the boy are gone.

2) And it would really be fun to climb up on the coffee table and eat ALL the popcorn I want. A whole bowl of it, with Parmesan cheese on it. Yum.

3) And I think I would like to be bigger than Roxy again, and just run free and tackle her like she tackles me. It might even be fun to roam the neighborhood and see what everyone is up to, as long as I wouldn't get lost and I could come home to mom, the boy, dad and Roxy.

I tag Frances Louise, because I think she would have some great adventures,

Emmit, because I think he is such a good boy it would be great to see him cut loose, and Melissa because she is his human and we don't want her to be left out, and

Karl, because he is so cool and talented it would be great to see what he says to these.

Thank you everyone.

Famous Friday

Did you know that I was famous? Yes, it is true. I was prominently featured in the newspaper. This photo was about three years ago. Mom is sorry that the image isn't better, but she was having issues with the scanner. Sigh. You can't get good help any more, these days.

Lucky is in the picture, somewhere in back, as was I, but the photographer thought the boy and I were so cute, he couldn't help but take our picture and publish it. "Pug Diva" is Miss Patty, who owns Miss Lizzy Woo Woo, my dog mom. Dad found the license plate for her online and she has it prominently displayed on her front door. It sort of got in the way, hanging around her neck.

Thursday Thirteen

Thirteen couch photos with my sister.
