1) It is supposed to be 90 degrees here today.
2) Mom told the boss they should have a cookout.
3) The boss decided it was a good idea, would be good for morale (things have been REALLY slow) and said he would pay for the hamburgers, hot dogs and buns.
3a) All the designers (mom works in a furniture store) are bringing something (regular salad, macaroni salad, brownies, soda, condiments, etc.)
3b) Mom is bringing the Surf Music.
3c) I am not going to get any of the great food. That's not fair!

The cookout sounds like a really great idea. I love Surf Music. I'm sorry you won't be getting any of the great food, Roxy. Maybe you could talk your Mom into bringing some home for you.

H-Mom loves surf music, too. Especially "spy surf" music ... the really retro stuff. All dogs should be welcome at company social events. That should be in the policy manual. Check it carefully.
Oh the barbeque sounds like such a swell idea. And fun. Sorry you don't get anything, But who knows- they may bring you home something!
