Lucky and I came home last night. Mom had a little "incident" on the way to karate, and I could tell mom needed us. Mom was in the left lane of a one way street when the car in the right lane decided to take a left turn. Into mom.
Well, mom laid on the horn but the car still hit mom's, scraped the side of the car, and KEPT GOING! Yes, you heard me. THEY KEPT GOING! Well, mom chased them, calling the police as she went, and when they stopped, mom rolled down the window and said "You ARE going to stop and exchange information, AREN'T YOU?"
Amazingly, they never realized they hit mom. Mom and PlusOne are fine, the car is not that badly damaged, just scraped quite nicely. Mom got their information, took photos of their car with her phone and then went to class. It was a little too eventful for mom. I figured she and PlusOne needed cuddling, so here we are. At home. With them. All curled up, nice and warm.

I commend your Mom for chasing them- I would have too! You girls snuggle with your Mom... accidents are always scary!
They didn't realize?!?! Some people just should not be driving! SOOO glad your mom chased them down - kudos to her. People need wake up calls sometimes. Or wake up car chases. Whatever it takes....
Thank goodness your mom is OK. I think that person is full of **** I mean bologna that they did not know they hit her. Chasing them was pretty risky too - I am glad everything turned out OK.

Stuff like that is very upsetting! I can't believe that person did not know they caused an accident. They should not be driving!
We would have helped to chase them down...but then we'd need oxygen!

Oh how scary - we are so glad you are okay. I have had that "gosh we didn't know we hit your car thing" happen to me before and something tells me they're not being honest.
