Working With PlusOne

It's seven inches long and goes nine feet. It's due today and is 35% of PlusOne's Science grade. The hardest part was getting the wheels to rotate. Mom and PlusOne tried washers and cd's on dowels, but they kept wobbling. You could NOT use a wheel that was specifically designed to be a wheel. You could have two nine inch balloons to power it, but it didn't go any father with two than with one.

PlusOne will be judged on design, how fast it travels and how far it travels. Let me tell you, it was not as easy as it looks. When mom and PlusOne tried this body and it moved three feet (after several failures) mom let out a whoop that had me running for the hills. Here's hoping for a good grade.

The balls were a good idea for wheels. It looks very interesting to me. I also hope that PlusOne gets a good grade on it.

I hate when teachers grade like that! That's a big part of his grade for sure, although I'm sure he'll do just great! Big distance thoughts coming for him!

WOW! Great job!!!! Our paws and fingers are crossed that Plus One gets a big fat A+ on this!!!

Save the plans and pics for when I'm tearing my hair out in a few years when/if Holden gets this assignment!

Happy Monday!
