Slow down and pay attention. Hang up the phone and drive. It seems everyone is stressed and they're driving too fast and not paying attention to the road (like I am doing). That isn't going to make anything better. Especially if you hit someone (and hurt them really badly) or something (and hurt yourself really badly)Third, mom has the bestest friend in the world. is taking mom to Alegria! The Cirque Du Soleil Show in July. She bought extra tickets and told mom not to whine she was coming and that was it! PlusOne is going as well, but he doesn't know it yet. (Hopefully that will make him happy as his monitor died and mom can't replace it just yet.)
So there you have it. Our Thursday things. Tomorrow I will tell you about mom's roof adventure.

Those are both pretty fabrics! I think I prefer the first one - it is a little bit less busy, maybe more "calming" or something?

Hi Roxy - I like the first fabric the best because it looks more outdoorsy. Please post a picture of the final product when it is complete.
I totally agree with you about driving and talking on the phone. Get out the phone people! Mom says that everyone is in such a hurry and that the 'kids' don't realize how fast they are driving. Cars are dangerous weapons and speed kills.
Do you get to go Alegria with your mom and Blondie? I hope so because it looks like a lot of fun!

I like both fabrics. I think the first may be better for the seat....maybe the other could become throw pillows?
Drivers out there are just beyond belief lately. I'm thinking cell phones should be made to not function when the person is in the driver's seat and the car is moving. Also, maybe peeps should be re-tested?
Roxy - No.2 on the fabric all the way. I agree with you on the driving - everyone should just slow it down and enjoy life a little!

We like both but to like the second fabric a bit more--at least it photographs a bit better!
Old Girl likes the second material. I don't know about it.
I like the firts fabric better :)
Some of the problems we have out here that drive me nuts are people that take two or three lanes when turning or cutting people off on the highway... so frustrating!
Cirque du Soleil! How fun!! We went last year and loved it :)

We agree about the driving- too much bad stuff is happening when people don't pay attention.
