Thursday Three

It has been very hot and humid the last few days. There is no cuddling going on, but there is lots of stretching and pug bellehs (enjoy, Angus).

Mom's two tests are Saturday. The first one is more important, but mom wants to do well on both of them. Mom figures she will just be wasted when they're done.

The first test includes basics, two forms, one set, eight techniques, spontaneous grab defenses, running (20 minutes) 40 push-ups (mom is still doing physical therapy, so this is non existent) and 40 sit ups.

The second one includes six techniques, one form (a really long one) and 5 leg locks with lots of variations.

It'll be over by 10:30 am, and mom won't know how she did on the first one til the next Saturday. Talk about tension.

Mom has always "collected" things from work, like the rugs and bar stool on the back porch. She had some spool feet from a sofa that got replaced years ago, and showed them to Mr. Karate for feet for a bed platform, (to get his bed off the floor). He thought they were really cool. Then mom showed him the mahogany posts she had hidden in the garage. He went nuts. He wants to make a real bed out of them. Here he is with the two taller ones. Mom also has two shorter ones.

He is all excited about the possibilities. Mom thinks he's pretty funny.

I think that those would make a fine bed myself. If your human doesn't want it, he can build a bed for me...

Stretching and relaxing sounds like just the thing for hot and humid weather. I bet your Mom does really well on her tests, but the tension is going to be high for a week. It think that Mr. Karate has a great idea. I love those bed posts, too.

The slobberhound ate broccoli last night like it was going out of friggin' style. I blame a certian pug...

...and I am not repeating MomBean's comment about Mr. Karate's picture. Something about 'woodies' and such. The mouth on that woman.

Oh wow! I bet your mom will have no problem with that!

Sounds like she is passing off the creative gene to Mr Karate!

The slobberhound was almost sent outside for the night. Why is there no warning on broccoli for what it does when it gets to the other end?!?

I'll be thinkin' of you and purrin, too! I want you to triumph! And then, rest. BTW, I need CLOSEUPS! OF THE PUG-BELLEH'S! Those faraway shots won't do at all, no, they just won't do. (But I 'preciate the thought.)
