Tattle Tale Tuesday

Lucky's vet appointment was typical. Weight 12.9 lbs. Blood taken, shot given, eyes and ears checked, and oh, yeah, rabies shot. Mom laughed when they asked if Lucky had bitten anyone in the last ten days. Mom's reply, only if I hang onto the treat too long.

As you know, PlusOne is in Washington DC for his eighth grade school trip. He called mom three times Sunday. The first time after he had eaten lunch (it cost eight dollars for a pizza, a drink and a cookie, can you believe it mom, EIGHT dollars). The second time was to tell mom that they had reached DC and were in the hotel room (he also told his roommates to talk to mom while he tried to kill a wasp that was in the room) and the last time at 10:00 pm. This is what we did mom, we went here and here and here and I got this and this and this and yak yak yak yak yak.

I don't think he misses mom per se, I just think he wants to share it all with her. That makes mom feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
