Mom is mupsy. She is fighting a cold, and losing, and because she's sick she doesn't want to see Little Ninja and give it to him. She's worried about Little Ninja's mom, who had surgery for two herniated discs, and she's worried about a whole bunch of things, not the least of which is raising enough money for PlusOne to go on his grand adventure with People to People.Boy, Lucky and I sure have our work cut out for us!

Sounds like you need to take very good care of your Mom and give her a lot of pug love. That always makes them feel better.

I'm delighted that you used the word "mupsy." My mother always used this word too, but I've never heard anyone else say it. Do you know where you got the word? My mother spoke Low German, and I wonder if it might have come from the Low German.
