A few of you may be wondering why mom is getting such a long vacation. It's because mom has worked at the same place since before the beginning of time (okay, almost. October started mom's 20th year there) and gets FOUR weeks vacation. That and mom took almost NO vacation time since April. I mean, a day here to bring PlusOne to Boston. Half a day to pick him up and a day given to her by the Boss so her head wouldn't explode and she wouldn't go off the deep end. And since mom worked her butt off (seriously, her butt is GONE!!) (lol) since May, mom figured she can laze at home for the next twelve days and not feel guilty. (Yeah, I know, not gonna happen). She is going to try, though. And we'll see if anyone from work calls her. If so, that would be a first.

We thinks that is just great your mom will be home with you that long..i bet she more than deserves a long winters rest...my mom used to work at another place and she got vacation like that also and benifits then she decided to switch careers and now has five days off a year and she can only take them one day at a time...she says she is an idiot!!!!
