Mom polyurethaned the shelves, and the bureau top and desk top, so things won't stick to them and she can keep them nice and clean. Then she put all her books BACK into one bookshelf. Arranged, of course by subject matter. This one is done.
One to go. The top shelf is done. The second shelf is almost done.
Mom is getting rid of stuff, books, old articles, etc, that she doesn't want anymore. She hasn't finished, but she just got a major hunk done, and is very happy at that accomplished feeling.
The swing will go between the bookcases. She is stripping that and will soon be painting.

Your Mom well deserves that happy, accomplished feeling. The bookcases look great.
You're Mom doesn't take it easy on Sunday either. Mine cleaned all day long.
Your Mom is so talented!
I need your Mom to come visit me for a while! I have some work for her to do!!! :)
The bookshelf does look great! :) Yay your mom!
Gus tries so hard to sleep with us but I am allergic and he does kick us all night long so we don't get any sleep. I will let them in bed with me if Shane is gone for the weekend or in the morning after we have our morning pee. :) They slept with us the whole long weekend in Penticton too!
Books? Your mom is getting rid of books? Awww, that's just WRONG! 'Course, if she gets rid of books, there's more time and attention for YOU!
Looks great, but lots of work! That makes us all sleepy. That's what we do when the beans are busy - take long naps.
purrs,
from all of us.
hi roxy!
oh what a great project! the bookcases look wonderful and organizing is our favorite thing to do!
what a great weekend!
Organizing and throwing away stuff is one of H-mom's favorite things. She sometimes gets a little carried away, but all the empty space fill right up again!
Your organized book shelf looks great. My mama gets in the mood to clean and straighten and organize and toss stuff- and it does look good when she is done. But sometimes she gets a little to close to my toys,
