Mom watched one of the students she has taught from white belt test for, and earn, her candidate belt. She will join the black belt testing cycle this Saturday. Mom is so proud of her. She has worked really, really hard for this, and she has overcome some MAJOR obstacles to do so. It makes mom feel all warm and fuzzy to know that she was a part of this.

You could have a special T-shirt that says, "Bow Down To The Pug". I think that sounds pretty good, don't you?

Roxy and Lucky: Make sure Mom is out of the room... Okay? I just want to remind you how lucky you are to have such a wonderful Mom and a great family. It takes a special person to know when to push people to their best and when to draw them in for support. Be good girls and protect your Mom, she is a treasure!
Now, how can we get her to up and go running with her student who is oh so terrified of this particular component of the candidate class? Especially now that she had reclaimed her Saturday mornings.
