Digging In The Dirt

It is supposed to be a nice day today. Mom is going to have fun digging in the dirt. She is going to plant some broccoli and beets. Mom did not realize that everyone (Memere, Auntie, Mr. Karate, Pepere) likes beets and they are all anxiously awaiting them. I guess mom won't have any trouble giving them away.

Meanwhile, Lucky and I will be holding down the foot, guarding the domicile and soaking up the rays. I've said it before and I'll say it again. It's a tough job, but someone has to do it.

I hope there are enough beets for your Mom too--and will there be plenty of broccoli for you?

All right! Your Mom is planting broccoli just for you! Who cares about the other stuff? Soaking up the sun is a tough job, but somebody has to do it. I have given you an award and it even mentions broccoli. How's that for a coincidence?

Hello Roxy and Lucky!
My mom helped me find your bloggie because she knows how much I love to play and walk with pugs and so here I am! I am your new follower, yeah!

Did you know I have 3 pug furriends that I walk with every week? Yep, my mom & dad are pet sitters and I'm so lucky to walk with Isabella who's a fawn pug, and then there's Ace, a black pug, and then his sister, Fenway. People laugh when I'm walking with pugs cuz I'm a redneck looking coonhound and I'm really tall and they are, well, a big stubby and short! That's okay though, opposites attract, right?

By the way, I am very good at soaking up the rays while my dad works in the garden too! Good job!

Did you know my mom is asking people to pawticipate in the FLOPPY-EARED CAPTION CONTEST that ends on Thursday? She's giving away a gift certificate for a store called Barnes & Noble...I think humans like that place! See ya soon!
