PlusOne had to make a cake from scratch for his reading and writing class. He has to write a letter describing the entire cooking experience. PlusOne chose German Chocolate Cake (with Coconut and Pecan frosting).
He had help making the cake, or rather, he had a supervisor. One of mom's karate students (NinjaOne) (and now probational teacher) supervised. She used to be a caterer and she did a great job walking PlusOne through the whole cake experience.
All I can say was mom was going yum a lot and when a piece fell off the plate, she fought me for it. I lost (drat) but she didn't get to eat it either. lol

It looks really yummy. PlusOne is good at so many things. Sorry you lost out on the piece that dropped, but chocolate is not good for dogs.
The Woman loves to make German Chocolate Cake. It was one of her father's favorites and remains one of hers but the Male does not like either chocolate OR coconut. Can you imagine?
