On Our Way To Daytona

Well, the weather in Tallahassee is CERTAINLY better than Jackson. 59 degrees and sunny. Still not warm by any stretch, but it is certainly warmer than any place we've been lately. Silly me, we should have been listening to Johnny Cash singing Jackson!

There aren't any notable songs (i.e. songs that dad would know) about Tallahassee, so we won't be singing. We can always keep singing Johnny Cash, but I'm not sure how the rest of the crew would feel about that. Thank goodness Monty isn't here with his karaoke machine. Man, his singing(that's what he called it) was gawd awful, (you can't really call it singing, croaking was a better description.

Anyway, Daytona is our next stop. Sammy is so excited. He is going to drive in the Daytona 500 and he even has a pit crew of kittehs and doggies from around the blogosphere. I'm not so sure I want to be part of his pit crew. Maybe if there were broccoli involved. Anyway, see you in Daytona!

I would have been happy to sing for you! Alas I live in the wrong part of the country. I shall have to make the Woman move.

There's always Tallahassee Lassie by Freddy Canon. Or you could continue the Man in Black fest by singing Wanted Man, cause he's wanted in Tallahassee.

Looks like you're all having fun on the road trip. It must be nice to warm up after all that snow and cold weather.
