The Cat In The Bathroom

Change of plans!Mom, Dad and PlusOne were supposed to go to Auntie's for dinner yesterday. But Auntie lost power on Wednesday, and when it still wasn't up yesterday morning, a change of venue was called for.

Here's me and mom's older brother.
Here's Lucky all tuckered out from all the company, noise and lots and lots of snuggles.
Here's PlusOne's dogwood tree. The snow was wet and heavy and bent the tree right over. That's why so many people had no power in New Hampshire yesterday. Mom was one of the lucky ones. The only really bad news was that temperatures dropped into the 20's last night and Auntie did not want Millie to stay in her house with no heat. So Auntie went and brought Millie over to our house. There is a CAT in our downstairs bathroom. I think she's pretty peeved about it. I have to say I am glad I am not in the bathroom WITH her! lol

Oh no! As a long-time fan of Miss Millie's, I'm concerned that she is not having fun being a visitor at your house. Warm but miserable. Take care of her.

PS. I'm glad that Auntie brought her special tablecloth with her.

Roxy, we know you will be a good hostess and make Millie welcome.
As you say, the best way is to not see her ;)
Bet it was nice to have all the turkey smells in your home though!

Purrs Auntie's power comes on soon,
but happy she and Millie have a great place to stay :)

Roxy, while you are not pleased to have your cousin Millie staying in the bathroom, I know Millie would much rather she be in her own home. It is better than you just pretend Millie is not in your bathroom. Usually, when dogs (esp. little dogs) tangle with a cat, the cat wins & the woofie ends up with nothing to show for the battle except scratches on their buns. It was nice to see your Auntie was able to bring her beautiful tablecloth to your house. My mom thought it might have been left behind. You look pretty exhausted after your day of company & turkey bird. Guess you won't be going outside anytime soon. The snow is way over your head & you could get lost in a snowdrift. We hope those poor bent trees will survive. Stay warm, enjoy your company & ignore Millie.
