Monday Moan

Mom spent a good portion of the day making chicken soup. I stood by her the whole time she boned the chicken, but she didn't give me ONE piece. Not one piece!

This is Mr. Karate showing his appreciation for all the hard work mom did.

And here he is digging in. He ate the whole bowl.

And this is the Patriot's game that dad was supposed to go to. Boy, was he happy that he got to stay home, where it was warm and dry and he had two pugs to cuddle. With home made chicken soup to boot.

You definitely should have gotten some. That is so unfair!

Nothing like slaving over a hot stove and having your man totally appreciate it!! He is a keeper!

It's just not fair that you didn't get even one piece of chicken, Roxy. Mr. Karate certainly enjoyed his chicken soup and was very appreciative. I'm glad you Dad got to stay home and watch the game instead of being out there in the snow.

It sure didn't hurt the Patriots won 59-0, either!

Hope Mr Karate feels better.

Hi Roxy! Let me get this straight. Your mom didn't give you any chicken, Mr. Karate didn't give you any chicken, and your dad didn't give you any chicken. What's that all about? I would run away if I were you!

You got NO chicken? Mom had roast chicken breast, pepper sauce and broccoli for dinner. I got a piece of chicken. I thought of you and would have shared her broccoli if you were here. I'd rather stick with the chicken.

You didn't get any chicken at all??? That is so unfair! Hope Mr Karate's cold gets better. My dad has a cold too. But no one has made him chicken soup! It is cold here today, a day for turning on the heating and snuggling indoors.
