Preparing For The Big One
Memere called and said we were supposed to get snow on Tuesday and then the biggest storm of the year on Wednesday, so Lucky and I are preparing. Here are our winter coats.
I wish I had booties, but mom doesn't believe in them. That and as soon as she cracks the door I'm back in the house quicker than she can say "boo". I wonder if Wilma would be interested in a road trip to Florida, or maybe Aruba?

You can here Sweetie - I just have rain and fog. But I'm quite sure that is better than snow
we are supposed to get lots of ice here tonight and tomorrow!! I am not looking forward to skating across the patio to do my business!! Hope you and Lucky stay warm!!! If we're road tripping, I hear Key West is nice this time of year!! =)

Roxy if you're road tripping it up, come by and see me. I just lived in Florida for a month and had to come back to cold Kentucky. It's pretty horrible. At least you're prepared.

Tell your Mom those booties can be a real lifesaver; it's not even so much the snow and ice that do the damage as the rock salt and chemical deicers. I wrote an article about caring for your dog in the winter months -- you may find it useful. Feel free to link or repost with proper attribution.
