That was a horrible storm. I don't think we ever had anything that bad here. We did have one where we got 51 inches of snow, but not the wind.
Why were those people even on the road?
I remember that storm too! The snow was coming down so fast it was unbelievable. I was driving home from work and my car was literally plowing the snow in the road. I ended up stuck in the end of my driveway.....good thing I was young...

Alright, that was two years before I was born, but was there not radar back then? Or did the storm just sneak up on everyone? How horrible to be stuck in that cold for so long!
