We
Took The Dare and this is how we save the environment. Not only does mom recycle everything she possibly can, but we use the store bags instead of paper or plastic. We have two red, two blue, two green and two lavender.
We get a nickel off our groceries for every bag we use. That adds up when you stop and consider that after one year that would be $20.80. That is a bag of dog food! Or lunch for PlusOne for ten days. Every little bit adds up. Just like every little bit of recycling or working to save the environment adds up.

fred, emmitt and i recycle too and it is fun to go to the recycle center every weekend to empty all of our bags. it is amazing the amount of recycling a family of two can do!
Hooray! Good for Roxy's Mom doing her part. I need to buy those bags for groceries, too. :)
sooo....I have an eternal struggle with the reusable grocery bags. I have them. I have quite a few of them. But EVERY time I go grocery shopping - I forget them. They never make it back into my car after unloading them the few spare times I remember to use them.....what can I do to make myself remember??? Does your mom have any good tricks that she could share wtih us, Roxy?
Maybe we will start using those special bags, too!

Mom's been thinking about getting some bags like that ... good going for the environment!
We should get some of those shopping bags - wonder if they make them to fit PERFECTLY in the bottom of the granny-cart? But then what would we do about picking up the poo? We recycle our grocery bags in the dog park!
Ohh we have green bags we use and I love to snuggle on them (even tough they are not really soft) and I get my little paws all tangled in the handles!
Roxy,that is pawsome that your Mom recycles!!! Mom has bags for the grocery store too :) They are better than plastic as they do not break!!!!!
