Thirteen Things mom is looking forward to:
2) The weekend, when she can do some more serious work on her back porch/sewing room.
3) The release of The Forbidden Kingdom. Watching Jackie Chan and Jet Li go at it with a staff between the two of them is totally AWESOME!
4) PlusOne's Open House. Mom can't wait to meet PlusOne's teachers.
5) The release of Brisingr! Of course, mom can't start reading it unless she has nothing to do for several days.
6) The presidential election to be over with. (With mom's candidate winning.)
7) Bed.
8) Sleeping late Sunday. (Nope can't do that, gotta work on the sewing room.)
9) Hurricane season to be over with.
11) The last two thieves pleading GUILTY to the robbery!
12) Mom's knuckle to get better so mom can wear her engagement ring again. (She got it back Tuesday.) (She smacked the knuckle big time sparring about 3 weeks ago.)
13) Getting her wedding band fixed. As she had to cut it off because her finger was so swollen and it wasn't getting any better with her ring on it.

Those are all good things to look forward to, but I am most thrilled by #11, as it meant that your Mom got her engagement ring back. I really hope her knuckle gets back to normal soon, so she can wear it again.

I will be glad when hurricane season is over, too! And also the election. It seems like it is so divisive for the country.
