While Lucky and I did this, mom got down on her hands and knees and scrubbed the bathroom floor. After she scrubbed the shower and tub, changed the shower curtain, vacuumed the bathroom (and I mean every square inch, nook and cranny) and cleaned the outside of the toilet. (Dad does the inside.)
While Lucky and I were doing this, mom vacuumed the bedroom, changed her sheets, did laundry and put all the laundry away. Except for dad's. He puts his own laundry away.
While Lucky and I did this, mom rearranged the fridge, helped dad with the grocery list, put the living room back together after her workout this morning, and put quilt pieces together.
While Lucky did this, because I got hot from sitting in the sun and went someplace else, mom made PlusOne lunch, changed his sheets, took the garbage out and lugged the old dresser (that Mr. Karate was borrowing) back in the spare bedroom so dad would have more space for his clothes.
While I did this, mom put all the groceries away, made dad and PlusOne dinner, got the dishwasher ready to spin, put out PlusOne's clothes for today, made his lunch for today, and hers, put more quilts pieces together, did more laundry and marveled at the neon clock dad bought for the kitchen. Mom needs to be more like a dog. Don't you agree?

Well, if your Mom didn't do all that stuff while you were napping, then the house wouldn't be such a nice place for you. I do agree that it sounds a lot like your Mom needs some nap time of her own, though.

Man! Your mom and her sister certainly share the "houseclean like a maniac" gene! I'd say you two were smart to stay the heck out of the way! If you'd been underfoot or even just snoopervisin', some pug was bound to get hurt. Sounds like PlusOne stayed out of the way, too!
