I Learned Something New

I learned something new today. Dad was at the computer eating cheese and crackers, and I was standing beside him, quite patiently. And I do mean standing, on two legs. See.

When I realized that dad gives me more food than mom does. He was giving me some of his wheat crackers. It must be the pleading eyes.

What do you think? Are those good pleading eyes, or what. And it worked! I kept getting crackers. Of course, he didn't like it when I nearly took his finger off. But them's the breaks.

He was really good about sharing. And he was really good at ignoring mom when she told him to stop feeding me. hee hee

Oops, I think you dropped one, dad.

Is there any more?

Those are fabulous pleading eyes, Roxy! We know our mom wouldn't be able to resist them! We are glad your dad shared some of his crackers with you.

We think you should get lots of treats after your ears are cleaned. The post-cleaning treats are the only thing we like about having ours cleaned.

Hmmm, good pleading eyes, but you have your high-beams on in some of the pics. Try low-beams for more treats!

That is a great look, Roxy! I can see how it worked! Too bad my dad (or mom) isn't more like your dad. They never give me anything!! I have to wait until my aunt Jenni comes over to feed me some crumbs. :(

Tjose are great pleading eyes! Those work at my mom's house.. my dad feeds the puggies all the time! Indy will actually whine at him if she sees him eating something! No manners at the grandparent's house!!

You know he's hooked when he gets more not because he wants them but because you do!

Those are good looks Roxy. Especially the second one where it looks like you are starving to death. You do a good job.

Mom calls that "whisker shark" behavior 'cuz we try to take off fingers when we're trying to appropriate some of whatever she's having.

Did you get any of the cheese????

Roxy, you're adorable! AND don't teach my puggies how to do the pleading eyes! It would be the ruin of my entire household!

Good work Roxy. Mommy eats crackers all the time but the only way we can get them is when she drops crumbs on the floor. We're very good at cleaning up after her though.

About Friday Rewind on our blog - yes please! Go ahead and use it. We like to share.
