When mom gets up in the morning, she gets PlusOne out of his bed and into her bed. She puts his clothes on the pillow and takes a shower. There is a mound right behind me that is Lucky. She crawls under the covers. I wait on top for mom to come back in the bedroom. PlusOne, as you can see, goes back to sleep.
Here is the Pork Lo Mein Recipe. Mom got it out of her Fast & Healthy Cooking Magazine from way long ago.
4 oz uncooked angel hair pasta
1 (3/4 lb) pork tenderloin (boneless pork chops work as well)
1 (1 lb) pakage of frozen sugar snap peas, carrots, onions and mushrooms (Mom uses the broccoli, pea pods, carrots and
1/2 c purchased teriyaki baste and glaze (Mom used this then found that Newman's Sesame Ginger Marinade is really, really good)
1/2 tsp ginger
It says to cook the pasta first and keep it warm, mom doesn't do this. She cooks it last.
Cut pork tenderloin in half lengthwise; cut crosswise into 1/2" thk slices.
Spray large nonstick skillet with nonstick cooking spray. Heat over medium high heat until hot. Add pork, cook and stir three minutes.
(Mom marinades the pork in the sesame ginger marinade then throws the marinade and pork in the skillet and cooks it
Stir in vegies, baste & glaze, and ginger. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 3 - 5 min or until pork is no longer pink and vegies are crispy.
Here is where mom cooks the pasta.
Add pasta , toss gently to mix. Cook over medium - low heat until thotoughly heated.
The original recipe has 4g of fat, 1g of saturated fat, 50mg of Cholesterol, 860 of sodium (I think the newman marinade is less salty) and 300 calories for 1-3/4 cup serving.
Obviously those more skilled at cooking (than mom) can adapt this to chicken, beef and whatever they want.
Enjoy!

I think PlusOne is smart to grab some extra sleep. The recipe looks delicious.
Do you guys just sleep with PlusOne?
PlusOne looks very cute sleeping there with you, Roxy. Lucky, we like to burrow under the covers too.

mommy says thanks for the recipe. she's in the mood for lo mein!
We usually come in way before the alarm goes off and walk all over mom, that's how we start our day. She gets us breakfast and we go back to sleep.
