And she got over half of it painted. So that made her feel good. Now she can move her bookcases back into place, and start getting the room into order. And paint the other half, of course.
The incredible life of me, Roxy Dragon Pebbles, otherwise known as The Devil Dog and my new sister, Juliet, and my new brother, Loopy. I have no idea what I did to deserve that name! Honest! Just because I'm a black dog doesn't mean I'm naughty dog.

Friday Partial Book Review & Painting Floors
Mom decided to go for it and paint the floor of the sewing room. She has had this gallon of paint for a while, so she figured she would use it.
As you can see, the (sub)floor is plywood. And a pretty lousy grade of it too. It looked really scummy, so mom figured it couldn't look worse.
She made sure she didn't paint herself into a corner.
Mom has started reading Brisingr. She waited so long to start it because she knew once she started, she would have a hard time putting it done. And she is. It's good. And mom is annoyed because she will have to wait a long time for Book Four. Argh!

I haven't gotten Brisingr yet. I am glad to hear that it is good. I really should pick it up soon.
Well done of your mom to not paint her self into a corner! That room is gonna look soo good once it's finished!

Roxy, I'll bet you and Lucky are looking forward to when the room is finished so you can hang out with your Mom while she sews.

Your mom is such a busy bee! The floor looks great. But I think it needs some paw prints on it or something.
Your pal,
Titus
Are you going to put rugs down or something besides just the subflooring??
Book 4??????? I thought book 3 was the last one????
I just bought it myself but to draw out the suspense I am rereading the other 2! I half way through the second book right now! lol
I love blue! That color is pretty.
Will you be putting down throw rugs too?

you paint very good. I am exhausted just thinking of it. Soon it will be done and then sewing time!
The floor does look good painted. It would look extra-cute with a few little paw prints in it, too.
Yay for sewing rooms! I have one; its currently overrun with extra fabric though. :p
Your mom works so hard Roxy, we hope you have been assisting her by sprinkling your hairlets in the paint. Can't wait to hear the next book review. Mom went to the bookstore at lunch today and bought the first Sookie Stackhouse story.
hugs from Texas
Pretty blue!
