This, That, And The Other Thing

Well, it has been quite a week. From my being ultra-sounded to the 6" (at least) of snow we received tonight, it has been very busy. And then there was the cheese. Remember when I told you the boy said that Lucky ate most of it. Well, he was right. I hardly got any! So it was Lucky that was very "uncomfortable" the next day. Serves her right for being such a pig about it, not sharing any with me. And mom came home to a mess, but she knew she would. It could have been worse. It could have been chocolate. But then Lucky doesn't like chocolate. After that, Lucky didn't feel like being social, so she decided to hide behind the recliner. And under it as you can see.

You should have seen how mom was perched trying to get this shot. Obviously, nobody was allowed in the recliner until Lucky came out from her spot. See her poor bloated tummy, it is better now. But after all that cheese (Dad thinks about 1 pound, give or take) Lucky wasn't feeling up to snuff, so the boy gave her lots of loving. You can see part of me on the right of the photo.

She is feeling much better, back to her old self. Which brings us back to me. After all, it is my blog. I am feeling better. Acting normal, doing my business as normal, eating anything I can get my paws on (mom cooked broccoli last night) and just being me! I only have one more day of my meds, then no more peanut butter. Rats! Oh well, everyone is praying so hard for me to get better that I can't let you all down. I have to get better and so everyone can stop worrying. Especially mom. She has really appreciated all your prayers, thoughts and comments. And I really am trying to be good. I mean, I didn't eat any of the cheese for goodness sake. But now I must go get my beauty sleep. And hope my hair grows in quickly.

Hi there, pretty girl! We're sorry you didn't get to eat more of that cheese, but we are happy you ended up feeling better than Lucky.. These are very conflicting feelings. Anyways. We sure hope your meds work like they're supposed to so all your friends and your family don't have to worry about you anymore!

Roxy, I am very glad that you are acting normally and taking your medicine. Don't worry about your shaved fur - remember, bald is beautiful! :) I am still purring and praying for you.

Lucky, your poor tummy. I have eaten many things, but not a pound of cheese. I think I might add this to my list. hee hee

Roxy, I'm glad you didn't eat any cheese. It's a total bummer about the PB, though. Maybe the boy can sneak some to you?

We're sending purraying and sending pawsitive thoughts for you to get all healed up.

Oh Roxy, you're such a good girl trying to get better for your Mom person. I can relate to that. I hope Lucky feels better soon. I bet that cheese was worth it though!

Golly Roxy a whole pound of cheese! Mine mombean said: "I bet Lucky really needed some prunes!"

I have no idea what that means.

I hope she's felling better now. You 2 need to calm down! Give the mombean a rest.

Still Purrin' for ya!

That's a lot of cheese that Lucky ate! Roxy, you should be proud of being such a good girl and not gobbling it all up yourself.

We are glad to hear good reports about both of you. Lucky still looks miserable even lying on the boy's lap.

I am so glad you're feeling well... but poor Lucky! It's actually pretty amusing. I love cheese so I can see why she ate so much of it!
