Lucky was actually licking the boy's chin, which is why he's smiling.
Mom's done with cookies for the moment. She made the Vanilla Chip cookies and then delivered all of them to karate. Practically everyone had a cookie in their mouth as they were leaving the dressing rooms. Mom is very "loved" right now.
Here is the Vanilla Chip Cookie Recipe.
½ cup butter or margarine
2/3 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
1 cup plus 2 tablespoons flour
½ teaspoon baking soda
white chips
Beat sugar & butter, add in eggs and vanilla
Add flour and chips
Cook 350 degrees F for 8 – 12 minutes
Mom Triples the recipe but only DOUBLES the sugar. Do not overcook. They will not turn brown, but will be very light. They are best soft and chewy. The recipe doesn't really make a lot, which is why mom triples it, but they are worth it.
