What a Day

This is the lap robe that mom just finished, for a co-worker. It is a gift for her mother-in-law. Mom worked hard on it and was worried because the colors are not what mom would use. But mom has decided that she is happy it.

Here is a funky bunch of snow hanging over the eave. Mom thought it was cool. So she took a picture of it.

This is what Lucky thought of going outside this morning. She doesn't look very happy, does she?

Of course, I am hanging out by the door, waiting for it to open even an inch, and then I'll be inside before you can say "Jack Frost" This look says "I want in NOW!" Can you tell?

This is dad shoveling and admiring his work. He always shovels paths for us to walk. He's a good dad that way.

This is dad's hat. Pretty funny, huh? I guess that's what he thinks of the snow.

Other than that, Lucky and I did do a bunch of cuddling and staying warm under the blankets. It was a nice day, for us. Except for the going outside part.

As much as I miss snow down here in Alabama, all it takes is a couple pictures like yours and I don't miss it so much anymore! :)

Hooray for Alabama! However, it's currently 29 degrees here right now, so I'm not sure if that's much better. Wait - at least we don't have any snow, yet. ;) That lap robe is gorgeous! I want one!!! :D And your pugs are SOOOO cute!

Are your buns all frozen from sittin' on the snow?

It's not cold here in San Diego, but Mom was pretty ticked (an' gave me a pretty frosty reception) when she opened the door this evening an' I walked out onto the porch ... She YELLED at me to get my buns back in the house RIGHT NOW. I was in a whole lot of trouble. I might have to sleep on the couch tonight if Mom stays mad. Sigh.

Can I come to your house even though it's snowy an' you're woofies?

It's certainly much better to stay indoor and cuddled up. Poor Lucky, she sure looked unhappy there.

That is a lot of snow. Poor Lucky. I bet her butt was chilly on that sidewalk!

That looks so cold, I don't blame you for wanting to go right back inside. I think the lap robe came out beautiful!

Well, any dog or cat knows the best place to be in the ice or snow is inside underneath their human's blankets. You are just showing good sense.
