Life From The Road

Lucky was worried we wouldn't be able to sneak out undetected, but mom went to bed early, the boy followed her soon after and dad was too busy with the Red Sox.

Millie picked up Dragonheart at the airport. Georgia, Tillie, Mindy and Moe came in by bus and brought Karl too! We had a wonderful breakfast at the Meezers, (boy, was it good) and then we met Abby, Sam's girlfriend. We went to this Toy Museum and played thundering herd of elephants. Oh, it was so much fun tackling someone other than Lucky. Then we went and picked up Parker, who was complaining that Rudy was hogging the Halloween Gizzy Quilt. I would have given Rudy whatfor, but I was a guest and didn't want to be rude.

Monty had a beautiful dinner ready for us. He took us sightseeing (quickly, we are on a tight schedule) then introduced us to Mr. Chen and Ollie, who joined us for the trip.

I heard that Gemini and Tara might join us, but Gemini is afraid of pugs. What? Lucky scary?HA HA HA. Now that's funny! Me on the other hand, well, mom calls me the "chicken dog" too.

As we pass through Atlanta, we are going to say hi to Captain Jack and Dante and then we will see Samantha and Tigger in Daytona, right before we see Daisy (who I so hope helps Lucky with her wardrobe.)

Meanwhile, I have to keep and eye on Dragonheart. He keeps forgetting we are not on the Autobahn and that there are SPEED LIMITS here in the states. Other than that, he drives very well.

And I have to referee the radio station. I haven't been able to get anyone to agree on any one station, so we have been listening to classical, jazz, rock and roll, country, pop, and you name it.

We are in TWO caravans now, there are so many of us. Miles hasn't pooted ONCE in the van. I think it's cuz he is having so much fun. Though we nearly lost a few members when we played chinese fire drill at a red light.

Dragonheart wants to see as much of the U. S. as possible so I thought we would go visit Beezer, DaisyMae Maus and DKM and Fiona and Orlando.

Oops, gotta go. We let Monty drive and now he's singing. It sounds gawd awful and he claims it's music but even Lucky is cringing. I can put up with a lot, but I think this is too much. I love Millie, but even love has its limits.

I'll post more when we get to Daisy's.

Roxy and Lucky, I think we are going to have quite a big crew on this road trip - the more the merrier. Good thing we are in caravans/RV's now, cause we don't think Luxor could put all of us up in his house at this rate, ha, ha.

You are certainly having a grand time on your road trip. You can get a really big game of thundering herd of elephants going with that many along.

This road trip is so much fun! :) I am having a blast and trying to remember the speed limits, as well as realizing that they are in mph, not km/hr!

I talked with Moe & Mindy yesterday and let them know Willow & I have plenty of Temptations, if you are passing through St. Louis after picking up Daisy and others. Just like St. Louis has Toasted Raviolis we can have Toasted Temptations, any flavor you like!

Hope Willow & I can join the trip to see Luxor!

I'll have you know that MOmBean always comes over when I sing. I just need to figure out if "what the hell is wrong with you?" is Italian for beautiful.

I know Millie LOVES my singing.

You do not look scary. Do you bark or run at me when I sniff at your furs?

Pugs is not scarey, just sloberly. They slobber all over, generally right after you've got yourself all bathed and pretty. Then they want to eats all your foods.

Sounds like you're having fun! Roadtrips sure sound like they'd be fun. I've never been on one. I almost got to go FL with Mom and her friend, but the longest road trip I've been on was three hours!

Egads -- you need to rent an 18-wheeler with the number of people you have going with you.

Hey Lucky and Roxy, we got a big red double decker bus. It is big enough that we can all fit in it and sleep in too as we visit everyone. You can leave all the vehicles at our place and we can all get in the bus. We can take turns driving and have lots of fun together.
Your FL furiends,

We are so excited that you guys are coming to see us today. We've been watching and waiting for you since last night and have such great things planned for you guys. We cannot wait for you to get here!!

Thank you for coming by to talk to me. I have only ever met chihuahuas and they were very scary--running up to me. Momma says she loves pugs--specially meezer pugs--cause you all wiggle and snort so much. I might be okay with that.

Don't forget about Monty singing at the top of his lungs all of his opera songs while serendaing Millie while he's driving. I'm not surprised he took a wrong turn and we ended up in Yosemite.

Boy this is certainly fun.
My Momma has a real brofur who has two woofies who look EXACTLY like both of you. One fawn and the other one is black. Their names are Molly and Gifford.

sounds like you're all having a great time!

we're actually not on the way to New Mexico - we'd be on the way north through California between DaisyMae Maus and Beezer. we're in Los Angeles. maybe you'd all like to see Hollywood? it's very close by.

DK & The Fluffies said...

If you are coming from New Mexico then It would be Daisy Mae, then Breezer, then me because I'm on the road heading back, I-80. Unless you are going a different way... Let us know. I'm sending DKM to the AUBERGE DU SOLEIL
to set up spa treatments for the ladies.

Too bad we heard about the Road Trip too late or we would have invited you guys up to Minnesota to say hi. But that would be a big detour. Maybe you can make it an annual road trip and come up here next year.

Your comment about Dragonheart NOT driving on the Autobahn made the maid almost pee in her pants!!! (She is German, you must know and knows all about Autobahnen!)
I can't wait to get to Daisy's and finally to Luxor - he is waiting patiently but I think he might be very excited!!!!
