Healing Pugs

PlusOne had the creepy, crawly cruds yesterday. He woke up at 11:30 Thursday night and was sick until some time yesterday morning. Lucky and I stayed with him all day, keeping him company and healing pug snorts until mom got home with the Ginger Ale.

Mom had the same thing after Christmas, so she knows just how he feels. She made sure to give him lots of hugs, because she knows that when you're sick, you just want your mom. Or your best pugs.

What To Blog About

Mom didn't know what to blog about today, so I told her she should show you the "Minotaur" drawing that PlusOne did for her. Mom really likes it and she wants to frame it so it doesn't get ruined. She also said that if she showed it to Memere, memere might take it from her and hang it in her studio.






Sorry memere, but mom's got dibs on this drawing.

Since we've had tons of rain here, we thought a shot of cuteness was needed.

Just What Am I Doing?

Neither mom nor dad could figure out why I was sitting on the grocery bag. At least I didn't try to sit on it when it was full.

Easy Like Sunday Morning

Mom thinks PlusOne did okay yesterday for his test. It's hard for mom, because she's biased and she loves PlusOne so much. He does have to work harder on his push-ups. The next test is in 4 weeks and PlusOne has to do 30 to the chin push-ups. I see a lot of push-ups in PlusOne's future.

Test Day

It seems like only yesterday PlusOne started karate.

And now he is testing for 2nd degree. If he continues, he'll be a third degree by the time he goes to college. Eek! At least mom won't have to worry about anyone messing with him.

PlusOne Is Sick

Not deathly sick, like he was when he slept an entire day away, but he has a cold and it's knocked him for a loop. He came home from school yesterday and took Lucky and I to bed (woo hoo). He also went to bed at 7:15 last night, skipping karate. Mom hopes he feels better for his test Saturday morning.

Today's Tattle Tale is about PlusOne. He looks so cute and innocent here, doesn't he? Well, don't let that fool you.


Sunday he and mom were working on his techniques for his first test Saturday. I don't know exactly what was going on, but mom sure was making a lot of noise. (Ah, okay! OKAY! ENOUGH! ALL RIGHT! GOOD! AHHHH!) Mom isn't worried about him passing the test, she's concerned about surviving the practice sessions!

What We Did Yesterday

Just Chilling In The Sun

We're just chilling in the sun and mom and PlusOne are listening to The Beatles.

Mom Sure Does Love Us

Usually when mom and dad go somewhere, they leave us in the kitchen, in our dog bed. But mom thought we looked so cute and comfy, all wrapped up in blankets on the sofa, that mom left us there when she went to karate.

Of course, it was mom who covered us with the blankets in the first place.

She sure does love us, doesn't she?

A Special Christmas Gift

PlusOne is happy because his Nana and Grandpa are taking him to see this man.


That's right, PlusOne has third row seats to see Yo-Yo Ma and the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Nana and Grandpa usually take all the grandchildren to one show, together, as a group. But this year, while all the other children went to see Mama Mia, PlusOne is seeing Yo-Yo Ma. Mom told PlusOne that he sure is special.
