Bribery

Mom tried to bribe me with broccoli today, to get me to forgive her for forgetting to blog for me TWICE this past week.

As you can see, it worked. sigh. I am such a wuss.

Wanted: New Mom

My mom has forgotten TWICE in three days. Excuse me while I take her out back and whip her with a wet noodle. Actually, since I do not have opposable thumbs, I cannot whip her but maybe dad would like to, lol.

My Garden!

My green beans are taking off. Mom thinks they need to be thinned out, but I don't think so!

The Space Cadet! She forgot to blog for me last night and I am NOT amused. Can't you tell?

You know what that means, first she forgot just once, then it will be twice and then it will be almost always. If I don't nip this in the bud now, I'll never have a regular blog again! Count this as nipped in the bud!

Why I look like this...

It could be because of this. I don't know HOW it happened. PlusOne must have pulled the tin out too far and it tipped over, yeah, that's what happened. It's all PlusOne's fault. Not mine.

It's Okay When

Sitting in the sun is okay even when it's really, really hot only when your mom loves you enough to put the air conditioning on. Like mom did for Lucky and me. Isn't she awesome? Stay cool everyone!

Expressions

Mom was trying to catch my different expressions today. For some reason the third photo makes me look like a scaredy cat. Just for the record, I am NOT a scaredy cat. I am brave and fearless, just like mom. I am. I really really am. Or at least, that's what I keep telling myself.

The Hots Are Coming

We are supposed to start getting some hot weather here today through Tuesday. Guess Lucky and I will just have to take it easy. Gee, I don't know if we can do that, lol.

Who Says

To anyone who says Pugs aren't great, I give you this mama pug nursing two abandoned tiger cubs. This happened at the Oktyabrsky Health Resort in Sochi, Russia. Now THAT is my kind of mama pug!

Wow!

Mom was stunned when Dad told her that James Gandolfini died today, at 51 years of age. He was a month younger than Dad. She and Dad used to watch The Sopranos faithfully. They loved it. All mom can say over this is "Wow". My friends, go hug your loved ones and tell them how much you love them because you never know what tomorrow will bring.

My Friend Benny

This is my friend Benny, from Two French Bulldogs. He is a very cool friend. He has a sister named Lily and they have lots of fun together.Lucky and I enjoy reading about their adventures. Right now Benny is sick. He has been in the hospital and his family is very worried about him. If you would like to send him some juju or maybe send his parents some support, that would be nice. Thanks!

Back To The Grind

Mom has to go back to work today. Yuk! Why can't weekends be longer? I think weekends should be five days and weeks be two days. Wouldn't that be better?

Easy Like Sunday Morning

The weather was nice yesterday, so Lucky and I enjoyed it. Mom, Dad and PlusOne went to see Man of Steel. Mom and PlusOne though is was AWESOME! Dad, not so much. Mom wants to fly like Superman. She has ALWAYS wanted to fly like Superman. Watching Superman fly, mom was so jealous! Oh well, Superman doesn't own a pug, and mom has two, so who's the winner there!

Off To The Movies

Not me, Mom, Dad & PlusOne are off to Man of Steel tonight. Mom bought the tickets Thursday. She's not sure how crowded it will be, but she's planning on being there early, just in case. She'll tell you what she thinks of it Sunday. As for me, being super would mean I could get ALL the broccoli I would ever want. As it is, I don't need to fly to get onto the table, or counter. I just use my ninja like skills.

Wild Weather

Believe it or not, under all that green (rain) is New Hampshire. Now, I know we have had some wild weather lately, but I have to say, it's tame compared to what's going on in the rest of the country. Fires, tornadoes, the huge thunderstorms spanning the middle of the country, I'm not complaining about the rain. Just don't expect me to go out in it.

Dad's keeping me warm and dry and I like it that way.

Getting To Bed On Time

Or rather, getting to bed early. Either way, mom has been trying to get to bed by 11:00 pm. She actually succeeded for three days in a row, that's big, let me tell you. She is working her way to 10:30 pm every night, but it may take another week. I am sure you all know about parents doing things they are not supposed to, well, this is mom's bad habit. Don't you worry, I am helping her break it. She doesn't get cuddles and snuggles unless she GOES TO BED. I think that's brilliant, don't you?

Easy Like Sunday Morning

The sun surprised us by coming out yesterday. It was nice. PlusOne and Dad went out driving and mom stayed home and cuddled with Lucky and me. That's a win win for sure. Hope today is sort of the same!

One Of Those Days

Certain areas in New England may see up to 5" of rain this weekend. Some areas may flood. We should be fine here in Casa De Perras (House of (female) Pugs). But Lucky and I are going to chill out, cuddle with mom and stay inside where it is DRY! You know, one of THOSE days!

But it's raining out. I don't need to go to the bathroom that badly. Actually, I don't need to go at all!

I'm just going to sit here and stay dry, if that's all right with you. And if it's not. Tough! I don't feel like getting wet. What are you going to do about it?
