Mom's boss told her yesterday that she looked tired, was she well? When mom told the receptionist that she replied for mom "I'm not tired, I'm EXHAUSTED!"

Mom is the official seamstress for the studio. She sews all the patches on the uniforms for the students and she has been known to hem pants and sleeves. Here I am helping her out by "breaking in" the uniforms waiting to be sewn. Aren't I being helpful?
It was raining almost all day yesterday. Pouring rain, non-stop rain. Rain that makes us very thankful that we have nice warm houses to live in with people who love us. Yes, we are very thankful today.

Here she is trying to get me interested in her karate book. Like I care about a book? Even if it is four inches thick.
This book has every technique, form and set mom has learned at karate in the last nine and a half years. As you can see, it is color coded (yellow are techniques she learned as a beginner, green is intermediate, light brownish is Black Belt Prep and white are Black Belt techniques.) Then all her forms are color coordinated, light pink Short One and Short Two, dark pink Long One and Long Two. Fluorescent Green is Form Four, Pale Blue is Form Five, Bright yellow is Form Six, and then there are the sets. They are different colors as well. I am not even going to go into the cross references pages mom has. Suffice to say that the best scientists in the world have nothing on her for linking information.
