Rain Moving In

We may have a bit of rain today. It will still be warm (mid 50's) but what good is that if it is raining? Ack, winter's coming. Sigh. Mom! Cover us up!! We don't like being cold! Or wet, for that matter.

You Know

It's hard to believe it's the end of November, what with this nice, sunny, mid 50's weather. I know, I know, as soon as I say that we are going to get a foot of snow. Bring it on. I got a warm house and lots of broccoli. And a dad who shovels a path for me in the backyard. Am I lucky or what!

Easy Like Sunday Morning

It is supposed to be 57 degrees today and mostly sunny. The normal high for today is 44 degrees. Anyone up for a sunny Sunday pug pile?

Sunny Saturday

We are supposed to have record highs today, and lots of sun. For the last weekend in November, I am not complaining!

The Aftermath

I can't believe I ate the whole thing! (Not me, mom, dad, PlusOne, Auntie, Mr. Karate, Memere and Pepere and six others) Among other things, the family polished off TWO whole angel food cakes, sliced and toasted with chocolate between two pieces. Apparently it was yummy.

I, on the other hand, am looking forward to the broccoli that mom DIDN'T cook for Thanksgiving Dinner. MORE FOR MEEEEEE!!!!!!!!

Mupsy Monday

Mom is mupsy. She is fighting a cold, and losing, and because she's sick she doesn't want to see Little Ninja and give it to him. She's worried about Little Ninja's mom, who had surgery for two herniated discs, and she's worried about a whole bunch of things, not the least of which is raising enough money for PlusOne to go on his grand adventure with People to People.

Mom's New Nephew

This is Ninja One's new son! Isn't he cute. Mom went to visit him last night. He slept in her arms, as peaceful as could be for over half an hour. When mom went to take a photo of him, she realized the card was still in the card reader at home, not in the camera. DOH! Mom is thinking of calling him Little Ninja, lol.

Easy Like Sunday Morning

Excuse me, but you're interrupting our snuggling time with mom. It's hard enough to get her to sit still but when she's feeling as sharp as a bowling ball, we have to take advantage of the situation. It's going to be a very Easy Like Sunday Morning here all day today. Woo Hoo!

PS Mom and PlusOne passed their tests!

Stripe Test

Today is mom and PlusOne's "Stripe Test" for karate. Both are prepared for it, but mom has been fighting a cold all week and it hit her yesterday, hard! So she left work early, started taking her Zicam and hit the bed. It was nice snuggling with mom early in the afternoon. Once she is done with her test, I think we will be doing more of it. Sweet!

I am really thankful that I have a comfy bed, foot to eat, a loving family, and sister (even if she is somewhat perfect) and great blogger buddies who are helping mom raise money to send PlusOne to Europe. Thanks everybody, I love you!

Tattle Tale Tuesday

This Tattle Tale is for all you puggies who think Lucky is so perfect!

Lucky and I both like the generic Triscuits, but Lucky goes NUTS over them. Mom and PlusOne left for karate Friday night and left the box out. Lucky and I got through the barricade and into the Triscuits. (Okay, the barricade was me.)

Dad came home, figured out what happened, cleaned up the box and the crumbs and went to sit at the computer. That's when Lucky decided to bring dad the BAG the Triscuits came in. Yes, you heard me right, Lucky carried the bag over to dad, IN HER MOUTH. My perfect sister. Yeah, right!

Math Monday

So far we have raised $2510.00 for PlusOne's Student to Student trip. That leaves $3990.00 to go. Remember the raffle will go on for a while, so everyone will have a chance to buy a ticket. Memere's silk scarves are also for sale.

Memere is also going to start doing more flower silk scarves.

They are more expensive, but mom really loves them.

Fabulous Friday

Why am I smiling, you ask? Well, thank you for asking, I would be happy to tell you.

Monday mom taught the Black Belt Prep class, all by herself, from start to finish. The Senior Instructor wanted the night off so mom volunteered to lead the class. Tonight mom found out that the Senior Instructor was told that mom did a good job. Everything seemed to flow smoothly and everything went well.

You can't see mom, but she is doing the happy dance in a really big way. I like it when mom is happy.

The House Is Ours Again

Memere and Pepere finally got their power restored and went home yesterday afternoon, to sleep in their own bed, eat in their own kitchen and sit on their own sofa. It was fun having them over, and having PlusOne home for the past three days, but Lucky and I need a little quiet time from all the excitement of having all these extra people around. It's tough being a pug, you know, it takes hard work, plenty of treats and LOTS of rest.
