First Day of School

It's time for the First Day of School Photo, and of course PlusOne had to go put on a red shirt. (he's worn red shirts most of his first days, lol)

It's hard to believe he's a Sophomore in college! Yikes, the time sure does fly!

Mom does have to admit it is nice having him close to home.

Just The Two Of Us

With everyone off at work and school, Lucky and I are enjoying each other. (Well, at least Lucky is, lol)

Easy Like Sunday Morning

PlusOne has to work today, Mom had to go off to a karate leadership meeting and Dad looks like he is going to enjoy his quiet Sunday morning. Lucky looks like she's enjoying it as well. (In case you're wondering, I up against Dad's left side. lol

Give me one good reason to get out of bed? Hmmm, I'm waiting?

Oh MY!

PlusOne goes back to school Monday. Mom can't BELIEVE he is a Sophomore in college! Oh my. Time Sure does fly! As for Lucky and I, we are getting in all the cuddle time we can before PlusOne has to do the work, work, work thing.

It's someone's birthday today. I'm not sure whose, but I do know she is almost older than rocks and dirt. And she's still as funny as she was as a three year old.

The New Baby!!!

PlusOne's cousin and his lovely bride had a beautiful baby girl Saturday. 

Of course, with parents as beautiful and handsome as that, it isn't not hard to have such a beautiful baby. PlusOneand the family can't wait to see his beautiful new cousin.

Ugh

This has been a brutal week heat and humidity wise. I am very thankful that we have a house, lots of clean water and air conditioning. We even had some rain the other day (as opposed to some people who had 3 inches of rain in just a few hours and got flooded).

I am glad Mom doesn't tie us up and leave us outside like some people do.

I've got the best parents. Even if Mom didn't want me on her legs cuz it was THAT hot, and she was too busy sewing most of the day.

Easy Like Sunday Morning

Mom's sewing today and I am keeping an eye on her. You never know what trouble she could get into.

Someone has to keep an eye on her and I elected myself as I am diligent and determined to keep Mom safe.

I love to sit by mom's feet when she cooks. If I am really lucky, she drops something. Yesterday it was asparagus. I hope it's green beans today!

A Lovely Day of Sloth

It wasn't really a total day of sloth. Mom did the laundry, and made her lunch, and washed the dishes and... slept late, and read and basically de-stressed.

It was a lovely day, if I do say so myself.

Easy Like Sunday Morning

And afternoon and evening. Mom is taking it VERY easy today. She is not going anywhere and she is not doing a whole heck of a lot. I am going to get a whole TON of cuddle time. Woo Hoo!

Getting Gray

Mom and I are both getting gray(er). It looks good on Mom, but I'm not so sure it looks good on me.

Mom's dreaming of switching places with me. But I sure as heck don't want to be her!

Mom Wishes

Her day yesterday was driving 33 miles to the other store, making new tags, putting the new tags on at least 800 items and then driving home. She did this at her store Tuesday and has to finish her store today and tomorrow and then finish the other store next week.

So Tired

After two days of driving all over the place looking at cars (from a Mercedes Benz ML class, which PlusOne really really liked (yeah right!) a Buick Rendezvous, a Toyota Corolla, a few Subarus and a Honda Odyssey) this is what PlusOne would like his new car to be.

It is a 2001 Honda CR-V with 125,000 miles on it. He likes it because it has room for his art supplies and projects and Mom likes it because it's bigger and hopefully he won't get rear ended AGAIN by someone NOT PAYING ATTENTION!

And it's green, which is what color Dad said Mom's new car would be. lol
