Sometimes, mom doesn't know what to blog about. I mean, that happens, when life is a steady stream of sameness.Tha's why I liven it up every now and then, like going missing.

Whatever! Anyway, as I was saying, mom sometimes doesn't know what to post about, so Lucky and I have to cause a little mischief to liven things up arouns here.

I am NOT ... well, maybe I am. PlusOne thinks I am, anyway.

Like son, like mother! Do I even need to say anything else?

MOMMMMM!!!!

It's called de Quervain's Tenosynovitis; a problem with the tendon at the base of the thumb. It's been bothering mom for about a week. Last Monday and Tuesday it was really bad, the chiropractor put mom's wrist in place on Wednesday, then Friday and Saturday it was acting up. Yesterday it woke mom up at 5:30 am.

You can still pet me mom, I don't care what the doctor said!

Why?

It might rain today, mom. Tell me again why we need to get out of bed? Oh, PlusOne has to go to work? Really? Are you sure he can't call in sick. He makes such a lovely pillow.

Not Sure

Mom and Dad are not sure if they are going to the lake later today. It might be sunny or there might be lots of thunderstorms. 

I'm glad Lucky and I don't have to make a decision like that. Of course, I know what I would decide.

PlusOne brought this home for mom this weekend. It's a Venus Fly Trap. He also bought one for his girlfriend. The girlfriend loved it and named it Aldweeb, after the dweeby dragon from Skyrim. (It's a game they play). 

As for mom, she was not quite so enthusiastic. I don't know why. lol

An Even Bigger Monster

Mom, Dad and PlusOne went down to have dinner with Nana and Grandpa and they saw an even BIGGER monster sunflower than the one in the driveway (which PlusOne has named Todd).

I don't know what the owners of the even bigger monster sunflower are feeding it. Hopefully not pugs! But it certainly is amazing!

Easy Like Sunday Morning

We had some pretty intense thunderstorms yesterday. Mom has always loved thunderstorms. I like them fine, if I'm inside. Lucky doesn't care either way. I think we'll stay in bed today. It's agood place to be.

When Mom Met Dad & Lucky's Birthday

Thirty years ago today Mom met Dad. She was working at a car leasing kiosk in the Liberty Tree Mall in Danvers, MA. Dad stopped by to say "hi" and he gave her a water. 

It's amazing it's been thirty years. They both look so young. lol

Today is also Lucky's birthday, She is twelve today.

I would have to say there are times I forget she is my OLDER sister. Especially since I have more gray hair than she does.

Here are three things that mom says I do that are classified as "Bad".

I get on things I am not supposed to.

Sometimes mom has no idea how I got there in the first place.

 

 When I am on things (that I am not supposed to be on)

I EAT things.

  

Things I am NOT supposed to eat.

 

 

Mind you, I don't need to get on things to eat things I shouldn't be eating.

And lastly, I break things (when I am on things I am not supposed to be on, eating things I am not supposed to be eating).

Sigh

Well, no one's PERFECT!
