Thankful Thursday

Sure, I'm thankful it's not going to snow today. But it is tomorrow! Anywhere from less than 6 inches to between 6 to 12 inches. What is this, an April Fools Day Joke? Just so you know, I DON'T like it!

Spring, Where Are You?

It was nice and sunny, yesterday, but really, really cold. Lucky and I were happy to stay indoors most of the day. Hey Spring, any time you want to show up is fine with me. The sooner, the better, just so you know.

It's Fabulous because it's Friday and that means the weekend is coming. Woo Hoo!

Thankful Thursday

I am thankful that mom got me out of the cabinet and that she doesn't hold a grudge. I got to sleep next to her, under the covers, like I always do.

This is the treat cabinet. It is also the dog food cabinet. Note that there is a child proof safety lock on the cabinet AND a bungee cord. That's because I can open the child proof safety lock so mom put the bungee cord up to Roxy proof the cabinet.

It didn't work. Mom, dad and PlusOne heard me making a lot of noise at the cabinet. They thought I was trying to get INTO the cabinet. It was PlusOne who discovered the truth.

I was trying to get OUT of the cabinet.

Mom would like to know how I managed to squeeze myself in there in the first place.

Busy Weekend

Mom is going to finish this quilt this weekend. Auntie is going to help her. When it is done, the quilt will be going to the West Coast. My job will be to make sure mom takes lots of snuggle breaks. Would you like to know how I will do that? I'll tell you. I'll just go lie down in the middle of whatever mom is working on. It will force her to stop and take a break. Aren't I just a smartie?

Fabulous Friday

It's a fabulous Friday because it means this nasty week for mom is OVER! Hopefully next week will be better!

I have a very selfish mother!

See those delicious ribs on the table. See my pleading face. My mother somehow managed to ignore my pleading face and ate all the ribs herself. Can you believe that? Isn't she unbelievably selfish?

MY Birthday

Today is my seventh birthday.


Mom remembers the day she choose me. Or rather, I chose her.

She also remembers the day she took me home and how nervous she was. She thought I was scared.

And brought me back to Miss Patty.

The next night she was much better

and the rest is history.

Rainy, Rainy, Rainy Day

So, since it was so yukky out, mom worked on her quilt. And I got to sit and snuggle next to her, when she was sitting, that is.



And dad managed to take us out between breaks in the rain. Isn't he the best dad?

Find The CurliQues

Auntie says mom likes curliques. Auntie says they are in mom's DNA. She told mom that mom had some curliques in almost everything she did. Her living room drapes are a prime example.
