Rain Delay On Garden Photos

With severe thunderstorm warnings, chances of hail and a whole lot of rain, mom decided that the garden photos will be delayed.

Here is something to cheer you up and make up for any inconvenience you may have suffered. lol

Tuesday's Thoughts

Mom was stringing up more of her berry plants yesterday. We were supposed to get thunderstorms in the afternoon, but it was beautiful all day long. After mom did that, (and made us go inside) she started working on a blue lap robe. Luckily she opened the door so Lucky and I could sun bathe. Tomorrow I will show you photos of mom's massive berry bushes and the start of her pole green beans and the sugar snap peas that are growing like crazy. I look forward to sampling them. heh heh heh

In Honor Of Those Who Served

Happy Memorial Day, everyone. Mom, PlusOne, Lucky and I would like thank all those who served our country in the military (like Dad) for their service and their sacrifices.

Snoozin Like Sunday Morning

Mom is going to work out then quilt, quilt, quilt. She does plan on getting some more berry bushes tied up. Some of them are longer than she is tall, even with her arms over her head! Then more sewing and relaxing with maybe a little laundry thrown in. Lucky and I will sleep in the middle of all of mom's fabrics and otherwise be stress less.

BTW, mom said the Avengers was AWESOME and for some reason, she and PlusOne keep laughing when she says "Puny god!"

The Long Weekend!

The long weekend is here! Woo Hoo! Mom, Dad, and PlusOne are going to see the Avengers today, then we are having HAMBURGERS for dinner. I love dad's hamburgers, they are very yummy! And he always gives Lucky and me some cheese (unlike mom!)

Fabulous Friday

We are looking forward to a LONG weekend with lots of Mom time. Mom keeps forgetting she has Monday off (how can she FORGET that!) but don't worry, we'll make sure PlusOne's alarm is off and we get lots of snuggles.

Thursday Thinking

Ever have those days where you think you are doing well and then you realize that you are just pond scum bad? Mom had one of those last night in the 2nd Degree class at Karate. I tell her she's wonderful (and at least twice as old as the other students,) but does she listen to me? NOOOOO!
Sigh. A pug's work is NEVER done!

Easy Like Sunday Morning

Dad and PlusOne have to get the lawn mowed today. All the rain we've had made it spout up big time. Mom is making sure PlusOne's alarm clock is NOT set to wake her up at 6:30 am (like it did yesterday). And if you're asking why PlusOne's alarm woke mom up, it's because PlusOne slept right through it. lol

Ahhhh, spring is finally, really here! Come join us. It's nice and warm and mom won't be back til after 5:00 pm. Maybe.

Finally Friday

It's supposed to be a nice warm and sunny weekend. I sure hope so. Of course mom is booked solid but as long as I get some sun, I'm fine. Hope you get some sun too.

Thoughtful Thursday

Mom and the neighbors were talking about how fast PlusOne and the neighbor's children are growing up. PlusOne is almost finished his freshman year in high school. Before mom knows it, he'll be going to college. Wow! More room on the sofa for me!

Gardening Time

Mom planted a whole bunch of pole green beans (so I don't eat them) broccoli and sugar snap peas yesterday. She even tried some asparagrass. She is getting ready to planj her sunflowers in the next couple of days (in between the rain). The new berry bushes are looking good (as are the old ones) and I am looking forward to a plentiful and yummy garden!

Mom thought the eight pack of Powerade, the 5 lb weight, dad's lunch box and two more Powerades would stop me from getting at the oatmeal, coconut and almonds that mom was going to turn into granola. AS IF!

I'm Exhausted

First mom had someone I had never met come over and work out with her (I had to bark at them to let them know I was Queen of the Castle) then mom babysat a BABY(Little Ninja)! He was in her lap for HOURS! Well, I had to let him know that was MY seat, so I barked MORE. The his mother came to pick him up (and I had to bark at her) and finally they both left and I'm exhausted. It's tiring being the family protector!

Easy Like Sunday Morning

I don't know who mom is kidding with this Easy Like Sunday Morning bit. She's gonna sleep a little late, do her workout at 10:00 am, start laundry, sew some gi's, do more laundry, clean up more of the house, (she's been doing one room at a time) make PlusOne mow the lawn (now that it has stopped raining) do dishes, more laundry, go to a wake, maybe babysit Little Ninja, organize more paperwork, write out her karate techniques, eat dinner, watch Once Upon A Time (and probably get really upset by it - Emma just WON'T believe) make lunch for work Monday then go to bed.

Phew, I'm tired from just seeing all that! Have a great day everyone!

This is Ninja One and her son Little Ninja. Ninja One is holding a photo of PlusOne in the same outfit Little Ninja is wearing. It was the one outfit mom kept from PlusOne's childhood (she thought it was so cute she couldn't bear to get rid of it.) Little Ninja had an accident and mom pulled this out of the dresser. Ninja One thought it was so awesome she had to pose with the photo and Little Ninja.

1000 Pugs

Lucky and I are going to be photographed (and immortalized in a book) for 1000 Pugs. It is described as One Year, One Photographer, 1000 Pugs.The wonderful photographer and pug owner is doing it to raised $10,000.00 for pugs and also to have the most wonderful book of pugs EVER! Especially since we will be in it!

Lucky and I will be in Boston, September 30th at 1:15 pm having our photo taken. Mom doesn't know if we will be separate or together but she does know that is should be fun. (Seriously, can you imagine how much trouble I can get into in BOSTON???? heh heh heh)

We hope to see our fellow pug friends there!
