Tattle Tale Tuesday

Mom is a doofus YET AGAIN! As you all know, Saturday was her birthday. It was also the day her license expired. Well, the State Of New Hampshire sent mom a letter that said "if you don't want to have a new photo taken, no problem. We'll just use the same photo you have now."

HOWEVER that did not mean that mom was NOT supposed to renew her license. Which she did not do. So when Dad asked mom about it on Saturday, mom said, no, I'm keeping the same photo. To which Dad replied, "Well, you have to TELL them that!" Doofus mom struck again.

Luckily for mom the State of New Hampshire has an online DMV where mom renewed her license at 8:30 pm Saturday night. Three and 1/2 hours before it was set to expire. Silly mom. It's a good thing her head is attached!

The Big FIVE OH

Today is mom's birthday. The big FIVE OH birthday. Wow! Can you believe that?  And when people ask mom what she's going to do today she gives this answer. "I'm going to test for my third degree black belt (the first of three). Only mom would think that is a cool thing to do on her birthday!

Mom Made It Up To Me

 

Mom made up missing my blogaversary and Lucky's birthday by giving me all the green bean ends (before she cooked them) and then Lucky and I got the leftover cooked green beans.

They were AWESOME!!

Doofus Mom Strikes Again!

Yup, mom did it again. Yesterday was my FIVE year Blogaversary and who forgot it? Yup, that's right, MY MOM! Sheesh! You think she could get something like that RIGHT!!

Anyway, these are two of the first photos to be posted on this blog. The first one shows Little Miss Perfect (aka Lucky) swimming (and doing it remarkably well) and the second shows me wanting to GET OUT OF THE WATER!

Mom forgot that Wednesday was Lucky's NINTH birthday. Seriously, how could mom forget that? She also forgot that it was the anniversary of the day she met Dad, twenty seven years ago!

 Sheesh, I think something is wrong with mom, to forget those two things. I will have to keep an eye on her. A VERY sharp eye! Maybe even a stink eye! lol

Happy Birthday to the bestest Dad in the whole wide world. The dad who gives me WAY more treats than mom, who NEVER gives me a bath and who LOVES chasing me around the back yard at 4:00 in the morning.
