 Happy Halloween, everyone!

Tattle Tale Tuesday

Why can't mom understand that I need some FRUIT and VEGETABLES in my diet. Though I will NOT take a piece of banana from her, I will lick out the inside and leave the skin for her to find when she comes home from work. Today, PlusOne found this in the sofa. It was an apple and it was yummy. I wonder what pomegranate tastes like.

Look Out, It's SANDY!

They cancelled school last night at 6:00 pm. So PlusOne will be home with us to keep us safe. I am not going to say dry, that may or may not happen. I won't even say we will have power, because one newscaster said power outages are going to be a given! I am just glad we do not live in CT, RI, NJ or on the coast of MA! Because it is supposed to be even worse there. We pray that all our pug friends and family stay safe!

Sandy's Coming

Mom says there is a storm named "Sandy" coming. It is being called the "Frankenstorm". Whatever, I say, Lucky and I are prepared. We've got our winter coats on. See!

Holding On Tight

PlusOne held onto Lucky very tightly last night so she wouldn't fall out of bed again. All I can say is that I have NEVER fallen out of bed. But then I sleep BETWEEN mom and dad so it would be pretty hard for me to do so.

Lucky FELL Out Of Bed!!

Early yesterday morning mom heard Lucky barking. Since she had to go to the bathroom she decided to see what Lucky was barking about. When she got into PlusOne's bedroom, she couldn't figure out where Lucky was barking from. Turns out, Lucky had fallen between the bed and the wall, and since PlusOne has a set of drawers under his bed, Lucky couldn't climb under the bed to get out. Mom had to turn the light on (PlusOne just pulled the covers over his head, it was 4:17 am) and pull the bed away from the wall. Then she had to lean over the bed and try to find Lucky.

Mom was really happy that Lucky wasn't hurt but just in case, she took Lucky to bed with her and cuddled her so she felt safe. Lucky must have liked it, because she licked mom's entire arm and side of her face. Silly girl!

The News Is

Mom PASSED her test! She will be promoted to Third Degree Black Belt on November 14th. The Studio Owner said she did "awesome" and was an "inspiration" to the other students  and a "great" class leader. Mom is psyched. She has not stopped smiling since she heard the message. I wish she would stop hugging me though, she's squeezing too hard! lol

Mom, why didn't you tell PlusOne to give me an entire treat, instead of a half a treat! Get with it, mom!

Guess What???

We went to get dog food today and there was a scale there. So mom put Lucky on the scale. Lucky weighs 12.2 lbs. Just about perfect. But mom got a real shock when she put me on the scale. 16.2 lbs. I have lost TWO whole pounds. Problem is, I DON'T need to lose weight. So mom fed me MORE for dinner. Is that GREAT or what! Man, I like this.

Very Easy Like Sunday Morning

Well, I didn't really have any trouble getting mom to relax after her test yesterday, she was pretty much wiped out. One student (a burly 17 year old) told her she scared him now. (lol) Another posted on FB that mom SO rocked it and showed the others what absolute dedication looked like. That made mom happy. Have a great day!

The Big Test

Today is mom's BIG test, her last test for Third Degree Black Belt. She's been practicing and practicing and trying to get lots of rest and healthy eating in and practicing and ... you know what I mean. We have faith in her. We know she'll be fine, but she still worries. We will make sure she relaxes afterwards even if we have to pin her down to do it.

Friday!!!

The weekend! WOO HOO! And the day before mom's BIG test! It's my job to make sure she gets plenty of sleep and remains calm. Ha! Like that's going to happen!

I Am Starting To Worry About Mom

First, she went to class last Friday night, dragging PlusOne with her, except there WAS no class. Okay, easy enough to get mixed up, it was week five, after all, and the schedule is different on week five. But then she went to class last night, when class is NEXT week. Sigh. Hopefully she can finish the big inventory mess at the warehouse real soon and then work can go back to normal for her. Mind you, it hasn't been normal for her since... oh. March!

Back To Work

So, Lucky and I have to get back to work. Here we are, hard at work. It looks easy, but it's really not.

Warming up the recliner for dad is hard work you know. We have to warm up the ENTIRE seat and it takes the both of us to do it. I told you it was hard work. Didn't believe me, huh? Try it yourself and see.

Freezing Weather

This is probably the last bunch of green beans mom will pick, as the temperature is supposed to drop down to 20 degrees tonight. TWENTY DEGREES! That is below freezing. That is COLD. I don't want cold. What say we skip winter this year and move right into a really long spring?

Tired Thursday

This is how mom has been feeling lately when she comes home from work. Like she can look at the instructions all day long and it might as well have been written in Klingon. It's getting better, but that on top of preparing for her third and biggest exam, well, mom is really looking forward to her Christmas vacation. I think there is going to be LOTS of snuggling then! I wonder if mom can last that long. I wonder if I can. lol

Mom's tired and grumpy (because she's tired and can't get anything accomplished at work with EVERYONE asking HER how to do EVERYTHING). So I think she needs some Super Cuteness. What do you think? Do you think it will work?

Tired Of Rain

After a week of sometimes drizzling, sometimes pouring rain, I want it to be over with. So does Dad, actually. Mom's been too busy to notice, but she does miss the sun.Anyway, I have made a decision.

Let me know when the rain has stopped, will you mom? I'll come out then.

Wordless Wednesday - Bad Dog Edition

Tired Tuesday

We were pretty tuckered out from our excursion to Boston Sunday. Miss Amanda took tons and tons of photos. She held up green beans to get my attention and we walked around Newbury Street just a little, to find a good backdrop. It was rainy and gray but Miss Amanda was very cheerful. I was on a leash for my photos. Lucky wasn't but then, Lucky wouldn't go anywhere away from PlusOne. Miss Amanda took a slew of photos of Lucky in a woman's arms, because Lucky looked so cute there. We met five or six other pugs, two were not 1000 Puggers, Two women traveled over three hours to see Miss Amanda. We certainly enjoyed our 15 minutes (each) of fame and hope all the other pugs have as great a time as we did.

This nice man really liked Lucky. Except for when she went over to the treat bowl and stuck her head in it!

The wonderful Miss Amanda took plenty of photos of Lucky and me. Mom thought she was being so smart bringing green beans as treats. Miss Amanda fed them to me to get me to do what she wanted. I was going to do what she wanted anyway, but this way I got GREEN BEANS!
