Routine

Mom went back to work today, like she does every Monday. And I go back to waiting for her to come home, like I do every Monday. It's nice to have a routine, don't you think?

PlusOne Has A New Love

PlusOne went to the comic convention yesterday. And he fell in love.

I Hope

That we have another nice day. Yesterday was warm and sunny and I could use some more of those. I have to stock up, you know, because now it's officially fall and you know what that means. WINTER is coming. YUK!

Why I Love Fridays

Because tonight when mom comes home, she will spend TWO whole days with me. That's why I LOVE Fridays!

How many of you remember that jingle?

For some reason, my stomach was upset (gee I don't know how that could have happened) and so I slept GLUED to mom pretty much the entire night. I think mom liked it, because she didn't want to get out of bed in the morning. I expect I will feel better by suppertime, just in time for more food. lol

PlusOne Gets Dressed Up

 

PlusOne went to the Homecoming Dance this weekend, so of course he had to get dressed up.

 He  made mom go shopping for a purple tie! And it had to be the correct shade of purple, too. They went to four stores before they found the right one.

And he even went with a GIRL! Here he is with her and some of his very best friends. But mom isn't gonna tell you which one is his girlfriend. You have to figure it out on your own. lol

Mom Did It Again

You know, I think mom should really stop breaking things, or at least, stop breaking herself. She's not sure if it's broken or not, but she says it sure does hurt. Guess I am going to have a lap to snuggle in today.

Not In The Mood

Yeah, that's right. I am not in the mood to go running around today. I like lying here in my sunbeam, thank you very much. I know I should try and be more interesting but... maybe tomorrow. Today, I'm busy.

Finally Friday

Mom has been confused about what day of the week it is. So I had to remind her today is Friday. She should be more like me, it's much more fun. I never worry about what day it is. I only worry about being fed. lol

Did someone say 'frost'? Mom says someone did, so I am preparing,or rather, I am preparing until mom goes to bed and then I can climb under the blankets. Sounds good, don't you think?

Easy Like Sunday Morning

It's been what mom calls wonderfully chilly at night and in the morning lately. All I know is I am glad there are blankies around.

Broken

The bad thunderstorms broke mom's sunflowers. Waaah. Well, she cut them down and cut the heads off the good ones and put them in a vase on the kitchen table. She'll enjoy them for a little while longer.

Wicked Storms And Being Wet

These are the thunderstorms that were rolling through New Hampshire last night. They were pretty fierce, causing flooding and power outages, not to mention a couple of trees split by lightning. All I knew was that I did NOT want to go out in that weather, but PlusOne MADE me. I should have shaken myself off ON him! phooey!

Growing Things Update

PlusOne's pumpkin is getting bigger. That's PlusOne's hand showing the size of it.

And my green beans are doing well. I thought someone was stealing them last night, because there was a flash light in them and they were being picked. Turns out it was mom picking them late because she forgot to earlier. Silly mom!

On a personal note, mom and dad were married for 24 years ago today. Wow! That's like older than DIRT!
