Frozen Tuesday

It went down to 29 degrees last night and it is going to be cold today and miserable (rainy & cold) tomorrow. I think I will just climb back in bed with Dad (he's on vacation this week) or cuddle up to him on the sofa. He will want a pug or two to keep him warm.

Barking and Cuddling

Pepere came over yesterday. And I barked at him. Quite a bit. I even did a little growl. But when he sat on the sofa, I jumped up and cuddled close to him. Mom things I'm "mellowing". Hmmm, I will just have to prove her wrong somehow.

Yes, it's true! Mom and PlusOne have tickets for 10:00 pm on the 17th of December. Yup, mom bought tickets for a movie not coming out for TWO MORE MONTHS!!!!

She says it's gonna be a looooooooooooooong two months!

Three someones didn't want to get out of bed yesterday morning. It was MUCH too cold at 57 or so degrees.

Back To Work Monday

Since mom and dad went back to work today, I get to stay home and lie in the sun. It's a lot better than going to work! Oh, I am so happy to be a pug!

Easy Like Sunday Morning

I'm gonna stay in a sunbeam as much as possible today, because it's getting colder out. Anyone want to share the sunbeam with me is welcome.

On a side note, it snowed on Mount Washington yesterday. Until very recently, Mt Washington was home to the world's worst weather and highest recorded winds. 

Thank you very much but I would NOT want to live there!

I am a pug. Therefore, I do NOT need to do laundry, wash dishes, clean the house or vacuum. So why should I get out of bed again???

It rained yesterday. A LOT. So what did PlusOne do? He gave us both a BATH! What an evil boy, don't you agree?

Last Friday Mom fell off of one of these

and landed on this (concrete floor) at work.

Somehow, she managed a perfect side fall, landing on her right side with her arm above her head. She did NOT hit her head on the floor. She did, however, hit her palm, shin, knee AND ribs.

Once the boss and the other employees got her up, she took another (the third in three months) trip to the walk in clinic for x-rays.

AMAZINGLY, she did NOT break any ribs. But she is going to be sore for a while. I think I am going to have to sit on her for at least a month to make certain she heals.

Is anybody elses mother this accident prone?

Two More Pugs!!!

Dad opened the screen door to find two pugs sittingon the stoop. A fawn pug, and a black pug. Both males.

Dad opened the door and they ran in the house. I was trying to say hello to the two new additions, but they were very energetic and didn't want to stand still. They ran all over the kitchen. It was very funny.

Luckily, one of them had a collar with an identification tag, so mom got leashes on them and she and Dad brought them home. The gate was open and the owner hadn't noticed they were missing. She was just about to bring them in for dinner when mom and dad brought them home. Mom was happy that they didn't have as long a disappearance as I did last year. lol

Lucky Is Funny

My sister is a very funny dog. She likes to lick things. Here she's licking the edge of the new dog bed. I don't know why. I don't know if she knows why she's doing it. I just think she's funny. What do you think?

Shopping

Dad and Mom investigated the Ocean State Bi Lots store last night. And since mom loves colorful, fun sheets, she thought she would try these. They are microfibers. Mom is a high thread count cotton gal, so that's why she's trying these.

Their slotted spoon broke, so mom bought a new one. For $4.99.

Mom's gloves were getting really old and not so warm any more, so mom bought some new ones.

She bought these fun cheaters all for $2.99 each.

They also bought a new laundry basket. The old one was falling apart.

And they bought us a new dog bed. Here's me checking it out. Glad they thought of us for once!!!
