Finally Friday

It's finally Friday. It's been a busy week and Mom is happy that it will be over. SHe is hoping this weekend won't be so nutty as last weekend.

Lately

Lately I am insisting on being RIGHT BY MOM'S SIDE. She doesn't know why, she just knows I have to be TOUCHING her.

Don't let her kid you though, she likes it. And so do I. lol

PlusOne's New (used) Ride

After sharing a car for three years, Mom and Dad found a 2002 Honda Civic (with 172,000 miles) for PlusOne. It has cruise, air conditioning and a sunroof. PlusOne is excited.

Mom is THRILLED!!!

She gets her car back. No more pulling the seat back forward, pulling the entire seat forward, adjusting the steering wheel down, moving the mirrors in, adjusting the rear view mirror, taking out PlusOne's music, tossing his kleenex...

You get the idea.

Easy Like Sunday Morning

It's  bad enough Mom and Dad got up early this morning, the least they could do is let us sleep in the bed. But nooooo, they kick us out of bed and bring us downstairs. At least it's sunny, for the time being. Doesn't matter. Lucky and I are going to chill. Like we usually do, lol.

This is PlusOne's self portrait, his final project for his painting class. It tipped over and landed in some dirt. PlusOne was VERY upset.

Mom took a needle and painstakingly picked off all the dirt she could.

PlusOne told Mom she was a good person. lol

Dad Says

Dad says this is photographic proof that I got into the garbage and shredded more kleenex. I say that the piece of kleenex on the right side of my face came from when I SNIFFED the overturned garbage can.

Spring just MIGHT be in the air! It was beautiful Saturday and Sunday. Mom did yard work and I basked in the sun.

Lucky, on the other hand, hung out with Dad. lol

Easy Like Sunday Morning

You want to do yardwork, mom, go right ahead. Lucky and I will stay and bask right here. We won't move. Promise. (It's too nice to move.)

Batman V. Superman

Mom and PlusOne finally saw Batman v. Superman last night. They liked it. They both thought Wonder Woman was awesome and kicked A#$. Mom particularly loved her lasso.

Mom said it was certainly better than Terminator Genisys but not as good as Captain America, The First Avenger (that movie had heart).

Still, Mom loves Superman (he could carry her anywhere! and Wonder Woman and she agrees with the critics that Ben Affleck's Batman is the most spot on, ever!

Finally Friday

Daily Spirit Animal

PlusOne told mom that everyone has a daily spirit animal. It is the first animal you see in the morning after you wake up. And your spirit animal wants you to join them in whatever they are doing. So when PlusOne wakes up, he sees Lucky sleeping, so that means he should go back to sleep as well.

Mom didn't buy. She told PlusOne to get out of bed and get to class.

I thought it was a good try.

Dad thinks I'm funny because I use Luky as a pillow. I think it's funnier that Lucky lets me.

This looks surprisingly interesting. I thought I wouldn't be interested in it. But now I am! Cool. It will make the wait to December of 2017 a lot easier.

It may be cold and windy, but at least it's sunny. And since we're indoors, we're nice and warm. Dad said that the heat needed to be turned on outside. Mom didn't get it until he said "I want warmer weather." lol

I Am NOT Amused

It is the 4th of April and we just had 3 to 4 inches of snow. It's cold and miserable and I am NOT AMUSED.

Not even a little bit. 

I want spring. NOW!!!!

We Woke Up To This!

And to top it off, we had freaky wild winds. Lucky and I declined an invitation to inspect the snow and instead inspected the sofa and blankies!

Easy Like Sunday Morning

Lucky and I are preparing for a cold day by snuggling on the sofa while mom cleans.

When she's ready for a break we'll be nice and warm and waiting for her.

Trying Hard

Lucky is very funny. She tries to stay up late and ends up just falling over. Here she is trying to stay upright but slowly sagging down the pillow. I don't know why she just doesn't surrender. Sleep is nice!

Wake Up PlusOne

But Mom, I AM trying to wake PlusOne up. Honest. He's just not moving. What can I say?

Oh, If I get off him he might be able to get up? Well, yes, but he's bigger than me, he should be able to get me off him easily.

Unless he doesn't want me to. lol
