Don't tell Mom where I am. 

Not that she is worrying about me (she's asleep) but we don't need to show her how PlusOne gives me my own pillow when I sleep with him. (Mom doesn't like to share hers and Dad, well, let's just say THAT'S not happening.)

Truthful Thursday

PlusOne stole me last night. 

Mom and Dad were sleeping and PlusOne came into their bedroom and took me out of their bed and put me in bed with him.

I slept cuddled in his arms. 

A long time ago I wouldn't have liked that, but last night it was fine with me.

Mom wasn't too happy about it, because she missed me, but she was okay as long as PlusOne was happy.

And he was.

Clingy

I have been clingy lately, but Mom expected that, so she is keeping close to me. And when Dad goes outside, I keep a real close eye on him to make certain he comes back.

I am doing well otherwise, but it is different and a little lonely. 

Thank you for your thoughts and well wishes, we all appreciate them very much.

Hiding

I am hiding while Mom vacuums the living room.

It's safer that way. I don't want to get sucked up by the vacuum cleaner.

Friday Blues

Celebrating Life

Some of Lucky's funniest moments.

 And she claimed more of the pillow than PlusOne did.

Lucky Has Gone to the Bridge

 Mom, Dad and PlusOne made the difficult decision to help Lucky to the Rainbow Bridge yesterday.

Last year she could still drag herself around by her front two legs but she could no longer do that.

 

 She needed to be carried everywhere and propped up to eat and drink. The Vet said it was time as she would be more and more uncomfortable during the summer months.

 

 PlusOne took Lucky out of the crate her first night and claimed her as his dog. He was with her as she passed. He is heartbroken, but he knows it was for the best.

I will miss my Little Miss Perfect sister, Dad will miss his little "Lucky dog" who would go to bed with him until PlusOne came home and Mom will miss the little cutie who used to carry off Dad's slippers.

Run free Lucky.

We all loved you very much and 

we will all miss you very much.

Back To Wacky Weather Again

You know, this weather we have is really wacky lately. 80's one day, then 40's the next. And since I don't like getting wet from either rain OR snow (or a bath) I am not happy with the weather forecast for this week.

Oh well, I will just stay inside and Mom can deal.

After what's been going on in the world this week, I am really glad I am a pug.

Thursday Three

Here are three fun/interesting tidbits about Mom's Prius (aka Space Ghost)

1) Mom got it October 26th. She has 2,956 miles on it. (Yup, she doesn't drive much.)

2)

I have not ridden in it yet. But that will change when I go to the vet later this month.

3) PlusOne LOVES to drive it whenever he is "LOW" on gas or he has to go "FAR" (30-50 miles) because it costs less to drive.

Mom drove it to karate Monday and it said it cost her 9 cents to drive over 3 miles. She was getting 61.7 mpg that drive. 

Gotta love it!

Granted PlusOne is taller than his cousin, but STILL! Who can reach that top shelf?

Oh Dear

Dad was psyched when he heard that The Twilight Zone was coming to Netflix. He was all excited to watch episodes.

Mom, on the other hand, was NOT. She doesn't like spooky, scary, horror and she certainly does not like "weird shit" which is what she thinks of the Twilight Zone.

Funny thing, though, she can read Stephen King easily and thinks The Dead Zone is one of her favorite Steven King books.

(Don't ask her to watch any of the movies though, lol)

There, now Mom feels better.

Easy Like Sunday Morning

If it's nice and sunny, and not as windy as yesterday, Mom may go out into the yard and see about straightening out some of her berry bushes. I might join her. 

IF it's nice and sunny. 

And not windy. 

Or cold. 

And if she brings me a pillow to sleep on. lol
