Please, No Drooling Allowed

Mom is going to be bad now. Really bad. I apologize in advance for her bad behaviour, but since she has opposable thumbs and I don't, I really can't stop her.

This is Anadama bread. Auntie made mom and dad FIVE loaves of it for Christmas. I think it might have molasses in it, I am not sure. It is a brownish bread, and it is quite yummy. Mom would not share a loaf with grandpa. She said he got three loaves of English Muffin Bread and that was enough. This is hers! All hers! (And dad's.)

If that is not enough reason to drool, this is. This is Auntie's killer white bread. It has milk, eggs and honey in it. It is absolutely to DIE FOR. Mom got one loaf of this.

Mom says if I eat ANY of this bread I will be ONE DEAD PUG. She put it in the cabinet with the plates and the anadama bread. She is not taking any chances. She knows me too well. Look at it and drool, that's all you can do, because mom is going to be stuffing her face with it and smiling the whole time. Sigh. Life is so unfair.

Vacation????

For all of you who think mom is going to relax this week, think again!

She started cleaning the spare bedroom. She is too embarrassed to show you the before photo, but just imagine all the stuff on the back porch put into the spare bedroom while mom redid the back porch. You get the idea.

So she started cleaning it. She also got on the treadmill for 1/2 hour, mostly walking, but some running. She also started listing her goals for the new year. (More on that on the first.) She wanted to paint a shelf for her sewing room, but after dropping PlusOne off with Grandpa, she sort of petered out. So that is on the to do list for today. As well as doing more laundry, the dishes and cleaning out the closet in the cellar where all the ornaments go. Then she and dad have to pick up PlusOne from Grandpa.

There's no rest for the wicked.

Fabulous Friday

Holden, want to come over and play Legos with PlusOne? He got the Magna StarFighter, The Imperal Shuttle, The Republic Gunship and Anakin's Starfighter. Someone's happy.

Dad wouldn't give me any of his snickerdoodle. Auntie made it. I am sure it was delicious, but I wouldn't know.

Lucky and I did get some carrots and green beans. And Lucky got a tip of mom's finger as well.

Tattle Tale Tuesday

It was like this outside Sunday.

So can you blame me for doing this?

Hey, I'm just trying to stay warm here!

I didn't even get any of this to warm me up.

I am so abused.

Awards

We received this award from Karen Jo at Kitty Limericks, Pug Possessed, and Too Cute Pugs. This award is given to bloggers who show great Attitude/Gratitude, which is pretty funny, because mom said one of the karate mottoes is having "an Attitude of Gratitude."

We also received this award. We are VERY honored to receive this award. Here it goes.

This is awarded to any dog that's eaten his/her own poop, another cats poop, vomit, won't sit, stay, lay down or come when called. Rejoice in your disobedience and be happy you have humans who in spite, or maybe because of your disobedience love you!

Yup that's me. I've eaten four loaves of freshly baked bread that dad got from memere before he even had one slice of any of them. I also got at half a loaf of the 24 loaves mom baked Friday. I've eaten gingerbread houses, tootsie rolls, pens, pencils, chocolate chip cookies, meatballs and spare ribs in spaghetti sauce, toilet paper, kleenex, PlusOne's army men, PlusOne's beaded projects... As dad says, it isn't a question of what I've eaten, as what I haven't! I also poop inside the house (right after I come in from being outside) and I continue to knock over the bedroom garbage can. I do, however, let mom sleep through the night, so she forgives me a lot for that.

I am very proud of this award. Woo Hoo! I guess I really am a Strange Dog!

And since Kelly over at Pug & Bugg has had a really hard week, I wanted to giver her this award.
We love you Kelly!

It had been snowing since Friday, I don't even want to LOOK outside.
