Mom LEFT Lucky

at memere's. Memere was cuddling Lucky and Lucky was loving it, so mom decided to let Lucky sleep over. Pretty girl (mom's niece from Oregon) is here and she is looking forward to sleeping with Lucky!

I will have my bed back!!

As for PlusOne, he is in Assisi today, checking out the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. He will also be talking to a monk about living in a monastery. He will be attending a dinner part with families from Cannara in the hotel garden. Boy, sounds like a tough day!

Rome and Peas

Mom is soooo jealous that PlusOne gets to see this...

And I am upset because all the sugar snap peas are coming to an end. Oh well, at least the green beans are growing well.

Old, Hot & Broken

That's how PlusOne described Greece to Memere & Pepere. lol. He likes Italy although he DIDN'T like the ferry ride. He said his stomach was doing back flips the whole time and he was glad to get to land!

He says he is having a great time, and from the sound of his voice, he is happy. He didn't want to call Memere because he did not want to make her cry, but mom told him to. Memere was happy. And she didn't cry.

Pompeii, Naples and It Wasn't ME!

 PlusOne is off to see Pompeii this morning, then gets to explore Naples in the afternoon. Mom hopes it is cooler there than it was in Greece

And just because Mom SAW me trying to pull one of the golden raspberries off her bush DOESN'T mean that I am the one who ate this sugar snap peas. It wasn't me! And mom didn't see so she can't blame me (but she does). It was the cat, I tell you! Yes, the neighbor's cat. There try and prove it wasn't!

PlusOne Called!

PluaOne called mom at work yesterday. Mom was VERY excited to hear from him. He told mom what he bought her (it's not a surprise, mom) what he bought dad (because he could) and that he had taken 290 photos and he was in 15 of them. He said it was VERY hot and he was having lots of fun..

Today he is going to Olympia, the site of the first ever Olympic games. The he boards  an overnight ferry to Bari, Italy.

Sheesh, all I did was try to stay cool. Something that is going to be extremely hard today, since it's supposed to be close to 100 degrees F.

Hot, Hot, Hot!

It was HOT HOT HOT yesterday, even though the thermometer wasn't reading very high. Lucky and I went outside with mom to pick berries and we were BOTH happy to go back inside when she was done. Lucky just sacked out after, not moving for much of anything. I agreed with her.

Apparently, it was 110 degrees F when PlusOne was visiting the Acropolis Saturday. I sure am glad I was here! Today he is going to see the theatre at Epidaurus after helping endangered sea turtles at Megara. The theatre has perfect acoustics for 14,000 people, there is no need for any sort of voice amplification for every person to hear perfectly and clearly. Cool, huh?

Where's My Boy

Mom and I think Lucky wants to know where her boy is.

I think she wants some of this.

I don't have the heart to tell her that PlusOne is frolicking in the Aegean Sea right now, and probably having a lot of funl Of course, we all know that when he goes away, he misses Lucky more than he does mom. lol
